Some friends and I are planning to use some of the ships we've been given by agents in a frigate fight. First up; the burst-a-thon.
With it's 2/2/1 slot layout, pitiful powergrid and low cap flying a burst is a lot like flying a newbie ship. Except instead of people looking at you and thinking "I wonder how he lost his ship" they look at you and think "huh?"
So what suggestiosn can people offer to equip this woefully underpowered ship to fight other, equally underpowered ships.

if its only burst vrs burst id use 2x of largest proj u can fit after fitting ecm burst shield boost dmg mod
the ecm and shield boost prob only be able to be used 1 ea considering the low cap and lack of rechargers but it would give u an extra edge over the opposing burst

Melt down the burst and make a rifter, then go fight another burst.

The burst is and will remain relatively useless until we can start using frigates as kamikazi vessels.

That is true, yet how can we make the utterly useless dangerous? :-)
The idea behind the little comp is to take the least used ships, see what we can do with them and hopefully have a laugh along the way .
Current plans are not to charge into <insert your favorite alliance here>'s space with a fleet of bursts singing 'Be werry werry qwiet, we're hunting waven' ... although... Cheer's Tal |

Personally, I would use warp core stabs and ecm on it. That's just me though. Go Burn Eden! ----------------------

I played around last night, and came up with:
Hi: 2x 200mm Autocanons (nuclear/proton S ammunition, because that's what I had lying around) Mid: small shield booster, webber Low: projectile damage mod.
With this loadout Angel Fugatives run in fear as I swoop in to steal their criminal DNA! The angel Hijackers just laugh at me though, so I think it still needs work :-)

I put the "little used ships" theory into practice, and tried coming up with usable setups for a Maulus, Inquisitor and the bastard stepchild that is the Imicus.
I failed miserably. The Maulus was owned so badly by a Rifter that I don't think I can look straight at my corpmate again. The inquisitor proved nigh-useless with it's 2 medslots and weak highslots, and the imicus died of a heart attack.
