when you say 'out of game' do you mean we will be able to use it to send and receive real internet e-mails? I didn't see any mention of that in the dev blog but I don't see how else we can use it out of game.

The ability to view 'sent' messages is a very welcome feature. Thank you.
Taking away the automatic grouping by sender, the on-line status indicator, and character image next to each sender is not appreciated. In other words, "needs what the original mail had and that is grouping per person...." (-something somethingdark). The absence of those features makes Eve less social.
Outside of Eve, I use the Opera email client. It has a feature of filters for organizing messages. Yet, one may look through the filters and still look directly at the in-box. Such functionality would be nice to have within Eve.

One improvement that I would love to see is a way to filter Corp and Alliance mail out of the "Inbox" once it's been read. That way it'll be easier to see what's been sent directly to me, rather than having it mixed among all the Corp and Alliance mail that goes out.
Just an idea.

edit - Although, there's still the issue of new corp/alliance members and people who have just joined a mailing list not getting any of the previous mails from before they joined. Could this be changed, or was it made this way for a reason?
Or even more so, mailing list mails going straight to inbox, can this be changed? I have the mail when I click in the mailing list, why do I also need it in my inbox as well?
On a related issue, why is it that if you are a mailing list admin, deleting the mail from your personal inbox also deletes it from the mailing list. ________________ ANZAC Recruitment - NOW OPEN! |

Um, mailing list mails don't go to the inbox anymore?
