I wasn't thinking quite clearly. For some reason I thought I was cloaked and safe, while I was infact targeting them and sitting there, juicy and visible >.<
ANMF L are about 1-1.3 mil a pop. :(
Hence why this probably is my most embarrassing loss ever.

My most stupid loss: We was at war when i saw some empty war target nub ship, so i lock it up with my interceptor and shoot it, 1 second later i get concorded

I used to grief in an astarte with my alt in an rr/neut domi. After a disgruntled former ore owner came back in a Harb I warped domi into range and waited for his corp m8's to come to his aid. Sure enough 3 of his m8's warp in and I start repping the astarte to get joint agro. The harb flashes red and put neuts on him and send my ogres out.
I am congratulating the guy for having and awesome tank and good dps, as his m8's had yet to engage. When my cap disappears I realise I'd set my ogres on myself, neuted the crap out my astarte and repped his harb.
I quickly get things in the right order and pop the harb. His m8's warp out and I quietly leave system, hoping nobody noticed :)

i lost my hurricane in bosena vs a gate camp tech III legion and a harbringer
i knew i shouldent have jumped into low sec ....
i have special antenne for tech III's

Yeah, Involuntary Confinement Legion camps are very annoying. At one point Bosena even topped Rancer as most dangerous :O.

Have actually also lost large energy turret 5 twice in 2 months. There really should be some kind of warning that your clone isnt updated...

Before agreeing to a 1v1, I took a really quick scroll down thru local and it looked full of greens so I agreed. One dishonoured 1v1 and one less Arbi later :( I checked and realised I'd checked corp chat instead of local without noticing and there were like 8 of the other guy's corpies in system.
I felt such a fool

Hmmm probably last night 
I was roaming around with my friend in GW, Me in a Thrax and him in a Nemesis. So we're roaming around and we see an Industrial warp in followed by a Minmatar T3 Cruiser, so we popped the cruiser and scrambled the industrial, What we had FAILED to notice was the massive amounts of Reds and WT's warp in, needless to say we both ran like the ****ing wind only to run into a gate camp in the next system.

Back when I had my pirate toon, I was trying to solo pvp with him in Lowsec. I was in a Ruppie, and finally had gotten drones trained to 5, so I was all ready to win me a fight. I warp to the closest planet where I knew fights occured and hung out. Sure enough, a rifter shows up and begins locking me. 'Yay, I can take a rifter' I think to myself as I lock, scram, web and open fire. I spit out my five drones and they are making quick work of him. To speed up the process, I fire up my SMARTBOMBS and proceed to annhilate my own drones. They're gone, my guns can't track the rifter, and I can't get away. One poofy rupture later, I promptly get laughed out of lowsec, where I don't return for awhile. *facepalm*
I ate a Carebear once...couldn't quit farting rainbows for a month. |

Getting a cnr into deep structure and a raven into low armor, while in a torp/neut rokh. Embarassing part comes when I try to point said cnr and figure out there's an empty midslot where my point used to be. Both marks warp away and I'm left staring at my screen.

Lost a falcon on a gate to some kind of frig. Was blinky red, so looking back I guess he thought to just lock me up for ****s and giggles and then burn away once I could engage him back and jam him, except I thought I was in my onyx and didn't think to use my jams and he ripped me a new one.
I thought this might be somewhat theraputic but it wasn't, I still feel like **** about it.....

Hmmm...where should is start.
Number One: Trying to show my friend how safe 0.0 space was since i was roaming it for a week in my Drake. Warp...gate...hello gatecamp and bye bye ship before i can even understand what happened. And thats when i finally understood the word the meaning of scout.
Number Two: Had a pvp fitted pre rigs changes Moa ratting in Low Sec. For the last couples of days i saw Veto swinging by with their blob of ships and always managed to succesfully elude them. But then it happened. Just when i finished two battlecruisers (rats) and started to work on BS. i saw one of the Veto members pop up on local. Being a total noob that i am and greedy one to boot i decided that i would have more than enough time to finish the BS and be out. Boy was a i wrong. The Veto blob finished me within minutes of locking me down. Lost about 20K of faction antimatter not to mention the rest of the goodies. Moral of the story...dont chase a million bounty rat only to loose a 60mil ship on top of 30 mil ransom that i had to payout. Only good thing that came from it. Veto did honor their ransom request upon payment. Not to mention a valuable lesson learned.

You're in a stealthbomber, at 0 on a gate. You know an enemy gang is near. A hictor jumps in and bubbles up and locks you. At this point, you're already failing so hard, ofcourse, that you'd best take the quickest way back to station... Which I did, by locking and opening up on the hictor, and having his friends drop in and kill and pod you quickly...

All 4 of my T3 losses although 2 out of 4 are not PvP.
First one to NPC's where I accidently made ALL NPC's spawn at once.....
Second one was testing the tank to some militia war targets at a station....
Third was to faction navy forgetting I had jumped into Amarrr space (had tanked for the caldari navy) and then going afk....
Fourth was doing Minor Serpentis Annex (I lost the first one also in Minor Serpentis Annex)in an area where militia wts congregate but usually stay docked. Incidentally one Rapier later and three Serpentis battleships doing 94% of the damage later....
Thus is my sorry tale complete.

discovered the taxman's thread and was reading it .... although i forgot to dock my hurricane at station so it just sat there. Came back to check local and found myself just blowing up .... docked my pod fortunetly.

Oh, that reminds me! I was scouting in my Ares for a Gentlemen's Club nanogang who were about a jump and a half behind me. A Falcon landed on the same gate as me, and I decided to see if I could keep it occupied long enough for my gang to catch up.
Unfortunately I was zoomed waaaay to far out and didn't realize I was hung up on the gate, agressed the Falcon, which turned out to be scram+blaster fit. 30 seconds later I was dead and my gang was still a jump back.

I routinely load the guns on my ship with drag+drop in the fitting screen, and then forget to put extra ammo (or nanite paste...) in the hold.

I was in my Ares and a Deimos jumps right into our roaming gang.
He decloaks at 15k from me, I press orbit and active my warp disruptor.
He starts moving, he's now at 22k, I press approach.
He's now at 27k, I overload my point and my MWD.
He warps out once he's at 35k from me.... forgot to turn my MWD on.
My corp starts making fun of me on vent and I feel sad because he was in low structure.

Its probably understandable considering I was only a week old at the time, but (same old story...)
I was mining in a bantam in a 0.4 system, when a pirate drops on top of me, points me, ransoms me, and then blows me up.
I've had more embarrassing PvP losses, but i've never quite forgotten my first introduction to PvP

pretty much everything Ive done PVP wise in the game so far has been fail... but a few highlights...
Me and my buddy are out in lowsec like a week old in 2 cats, T1 Rifter Warps in immediately scrams my buddy, we both open fire hes dead in 5 seconds... We make fun of him in local chat for about 15 minutes still ratting together.. He warps back in this time in a thrasher.. Scrams my buddy I warp away to safety because I have no idea what a thrasher is but assume it is a battleship. I quickly realize its a destroyer and warp back.. by the time I get back my buddy is dead.. I get scrammed.. were both podded.. My buddy quit the game after that lol
To make it worse all the T2 Modules that we looted off him dropped off us...
Just the other day was in lowsec in my iteron.. was stuck in station because of a pirate blob outside.. after a hour I just say **** it and go out. Right as I leave the only pirate camping the station warps out. I figure im lucky and quickly warp to my gate.. only to see the gate I warped to was the gate he had just went to with his buddies. I die in 2 shots.
Oh and I was trying to fail pirate and got to excited when I finally found a target.. I was at a gate opened fire and didn't even last 5 seconds.
