Quote: The Naglfar has a new bonus: 5% bonus to Missile Launcher rate of fire per level of Minmatar Dreadnought Skill. In exchange, the Naglfar has lost its bonus to projectile rate of fire.
F***ING STUPID IDEA!
How many people fought to get the Naglfar changed to a Projectile focused ship in the first place?!?
We got a CSM Petition that lead to a change, and now you simply decide to simply ignore it all, and change it back again ONE PATCH LATER to stats that are EVEN WORSE than the initial ones.
Great work..... really.....

This is why devs should never poast until they run it though QA.

...and no one has noticed the sheer volume of declared "fixes" in this patch/expansion? I haven't seen that many bugs squashed since EVE began...and this on TOP of all the system improvements and added content?
CCP, the cake is no longer a lie. You've served it up fresh along with a nice helping of warm apple pie and ice cream.

WTF!!! This is really really silly to implement something like this! This will SCREW any logicistics moving operations not to mention the pain it will cause...way to go CCP...

Reading comprehension FTW.
That patch note applies to the ships mentioned in the previous sentence of that patch note. Please read it again and understand that it applies to faction ships, whose slot layouts have been changed.

Ehm. No it won't, unless you're doing an awful lot of faction-ship moving on patch day. The text you quoted only describes what will happen to the ships that are being changed in the patch so people will know where to look for the bits that fall off because they can no longer be fitted due to changes in slots/hardpoints/whathaveyou. ——— “If you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡… you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.” — Karath Piki |

ive already refitted mine; its a real neat setup, kinda like a general purpose nano cap. not only does it TP now, it webs, tackles and ecm's, all whilst orbiting the target at a whopping 300m/s...those pos towers are gonna be so screwed...
so anyway, anyone else predicting a crash in the value of minmatar capitals? cos im betting a lotta pilots are gonna be dumping them... 0ok! |

Damn calming down now, sorry for my fast read of it but I kinda freaked out when I saw it..Perhaps they should of said "Faction ships that are in space, in a station...."

I would hate to think what implementing something like this permanetely for all ships would do to the game
I misread it and posted earlier in this thread about it as well, but however after rereading it I edited my post
Quote: Faction and Navy ships have been revamped. For details see CCP YtterbiumÆs blog Adding flavour to your faction meal .Ships that are in space, in a station (either active or in the hanger), or stored in a Ship Maintenance Array structure will have their modules moved to their cargo hold. Ships that are stored in a Ship Maintenance Bay aboard a carrier will have their modules removed to the carrier's cargo hold.
They do mention faction ships specifically.

Quote: You can no longer inject skills if they cannot be added to the end of the training queue immediately.
What does this do? If this just means I can't inject a skill unless I have free time at the end of my queue (as in less than 24 hours) than all I have to do is cancel whatever skill I'm training, inject whatever skills I want, and resume my old training. It doesn't actually change gameplay at all other than adding mouse clicks to this process.
Hell, you could even just hit "train skill now" for whatever you want to inject, overriding whatever skill you are currently training, and then switch back to the old skill. What good is this?
Just curious, not really trying to rant even though I kinda am.

There'd better be a heavy penalty for abusing this though if it is implemented.

this rocks!!!!!!!
stevie ray vaughan while mining yayyyy
mp3 support was there many years ago, as was the ability to load your own songs.
They purposely disabled it to avoid licensing issues, since the mp3 codec is proprietary.
In any case, why would someone bother with a substandard player when they can play lossless through fubar2000 in the background? :\
