1.Trying to decide if I want too Drive my semi From Palm Springs CA to Calexico CA or sleep some more..

Do you have a link to anything about the scientists and what they are working on?
The best site I've found is the one from the LHCb experiment. Looks ugly, but they seem to be really keen to let people know what's going on. It's more about the project than the image of the site. LHCb Home Page - from here you can wander around the CERN eReal Estate for hours.

A little of both. I've got my name on the credits of another MMO (not WoW), butI'm in between jobs trying to build a portfolio to move from QA to design.
And I actually chose Unity for the 2d game with that in mind. With a little camera magic, it lets you use 3D models and such while preserving the 2d gameplay. It's just more involved
