Edited by: Weisbowsky on 01/12/2009 16:47:16 Yes, EvE works fine on Windows 7. (Well I have no complaints)
The only complaint about your new PC is Ram. It will run on 2GB but it will run better on 4GB (the minimum requirement for Win7(64) is 2GB). Remember your OS usually takes up half yer RAM.
Otherwise you are good to go

Edited by: Aisley Tyrion on 01/12/2009 16:47:29 Win7 is now officially supported by CCP so yes it works.
Edit: Sauces are always good.

If you plan to run a 64-bit OS, go for 6GB of RAM. You'll be glad you did.

Yes. Running Win7 with Eve on a Dell XPS M1710 laptop and a big 64-bit Dell gaming box (can't remember the model #).

I have been using Win7 since January and the only issue I had during those beta times was patching since the new patching system didn't work to well so i would patch my laptop (xp) and the copy over the wire.
Only issue I have noticed is the integrated sound for my mobo isn't that great in the driver department but it is what it is for integrated sound hardware.

Eve runs very well on Windows 7,
Definitely upgrade your memory to 4 gigs and spend the extra $30 bucks and get a 9800gt.

I've had Sisi rocking the 7 for months. So: yea! :) ---------------------- They're angry there was damage done to their ship. It's not difficult! |
