Now you're just trying to grab yourself a place in the next Princess of Pator book.
Did you ever finish reading that, by the way? I figured you'd be OK with it because most of the long words were ancient Amarrian.
I could tell just by looking at the cover that it was pure, unmitigated filth.
If you want, I could tell you how it ends...
But what where you doing looking at the cover in the first place? Wasnt the book outlawed in the Empire?
I think some self-flagellation might be in order...
The cover was plastered all over the IGS. It was hard to avoid it.

Alica seems to be very ragged today and her hair is in strains, smear and goo is over her face and overall and a part of her leg is smoldering. Her look is a bit insane.
Yeah! Yeah! Okay. Okay. Just about twentyfour hours of nonstop compiling and working on this damn Minmatar computer system. Yeah. This is... dolls... great!

You're quite welcome, dear, but there's hardly the need to thank me. My former business partner, lovely Lady that she was, had a number of concerns about the project. The profit forecast simply wasn't good enough to warrant my being constantly reminded about the potential for legal injunctions, public relations disasters and the loss of my immortal soul for contributing to 'the growth of cults of celebrity'. |

When I was younger a remember having a some what large collection of dolls, of all designs and materials.
Ok, it was massive.
Never did have any capsuleers though. Not that they had proliferated as much as they have now back then.
Perhaps I should invest in having a set comissioned, for old times sake. Any ideas of who would make a good doll? -------

I've mostly seen dolls, or action-figures, of heroes from holomovies and the likes. Fiction is always more fun and interesting than ordinary life I guess. There are a few of real people, some pod-pilots, but mostly historical figures, like our first president. Though I doubt he had abs like the doll has, nor that he carried the giant oversized machinegun that comes with it. There was one interesting pair that came out recently, with Jacus Roden and Tibus Heth. I might have to get that one.

Alica holds up triumphantly a Merdaneth Militia-Crusaderpilot Action-Doll. Some computerchips are hanging in her messy hair, on her neck she wears a lace of pierced and threaded co-processors, wearing some RAM in front of her breast like ancient tribal harness which were made of wood or bone, with the simple difference that these are made of slain hightech devices and not bones of slain enemy.
rEjoiCE! Her left eye twitches irregular while her eyes are bloodstained and dark. She seems to concentrate on the puppet and stands still for a few seconds before she speaks with more control.
I have found this thing. A Merdaneth action figure. Sold in every Empire shop, for example from Imperial Armements, which are spread around the galaxy like... spores of fungus. As you can see -
She holds the head of the figure so near to the cam that it is filling the whole screen.
nO hAiR! nO hAiR!!!
She closes her eyes and whispers: No hair. No hair. No hair.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN!? EHY?
Quickly she walks -no runs- over to a pipe that is standing in the room, fixed by some mechanics from her workshop. She stuffs the puppet into the tube from the front with the head first and pushes it deeper with a rod that is looking like something that was used to hit hard a bunch of computers before this.
Won't fly! Won't fly! No hair! Does not fit the tube! See! See! See?!
The cam has problems to follow her when she is coming back from the ammunitions center with a 125mm fusion cartridge.
FiTtinG peRfeCtomEntO! sEe?!
She is wearing some goggles for protection and a white gown when she is inserting the cartridge on the bottom end of the pipe.
nOw! hAmMeR! hIT hARd boTtoM enD!
Some people are running across the screen in her direction trying to stop her. A fight arouses, the camera got hit.
Silence.

Erm.. so yeah..
Minmatar ship computers and dolls were perhaps not the best combination for Miss Wildfire it seems.
Giving a smirk when playing the video feed from the frantic rumble again
She does however produce some hilarious antics, on the doll subject I have not much to say, was more interested in live animals when younger.

I must admit I never had any action figures, as I was more into other kinds of game. Cargo ships and merchant ships and all those I had plenty. And I do remember that the box of the Bestower did show some pics of action figures. But it was a collection of generals that fought the great wars of our past with success. And one warrior-saint, though I can't remember which one it was.

I had a Cold Wind doll and a Wind-Of-The-West doll. Hard to acquire on Caldari Prime when I was growing up due to export duties on certain Caldari State cultural artifacts being punitively high due to the ethnic cleansing campaign. My Caldari-defecting relatives gave them to me as presents along with an Ishkone watchman. I had named him K'vire.
Curiously there wasn't a similar export duty for Achura stuff, I was able to get plushies of various stars. I liked the Blue Giants the best.

There used to be dolls of me available on the mass market. I've heard they were quite popular at one point. They were impact-resistant so you could throw them against a wall and it'd activate the voice chip, and you'd get a scathing insult or a Federal aphorism in response.
Unfortunately they had a mysterious defect, the cause of which could not be traced, which caused them to spontaneously burst into flame when the word "exalted" was said within earshot. There was a mass product recall and I don't think any of them are still available, even as collector's items. -----

I finally got my hands on one of these "Admiral Blake and Captive" playsets and I'm sure many of you will be delighted to know that the "Admiral Blake" figure is indeed completely anatomically correct.
It has a pair of plastic underpants that won't come off and a trademark saying "Made in Sarum" on the left buttock.
