I know with all the crashing going on and disconnects, this may seem like a nit, however I find it emblematic of the bizarre differences of the PC and the Mac/Cider client.
The shiney-reflecty parts of my Amarr ships are no longer reflective. (e.g. the outboard plates on the engine nacelles of an Amarr Magnate) My ships look dull and lifeless and as though they're made of plastic. The interior of the Amarr stations no longer have that "foggy" look. They're clear as a crisp winter morning.
I've tried changing the shader detail menu to all different levels, and it seems as though it doesn't do anything.
All of the above is not an issue when I run the actual PC client on the same computer in Bootcamp.

Please file a bug report with screenshots and we'll look into this.

Have you been able to take screenshots that show the problem? I am running EVE on a recent iMac with an ATi 4850, and the graphics look fine on my client.

I noticed this as well however it seems to be random, not a consistent problem. I wish I had screen captures from before Dominion, however i will record a short video of what is (and is not) working when i see it happening.
