It was also announced as far back as fanfest that they wouldn't have it for the first deployment because of exploit possibilities. I don't like the idea of surfing with everything enabled.

Exactly - also the amount of surfing data "flash cookies" hold on your own machine as its default setting, is a cause for concern.
