When creating it, what were the main drives to creating what is now "your" face on EVE? Mine is slightly similar, dark hair and dark eyes. Pretty much the only similarities. When creating mine, I was going for something I wouldn't mind looking if I did indeed lived in EVE. I picked features that I like. I have blueish background, thats just one of my favorite colors and looks nice. I also thought I could make the matar male white and realized that I couldn't, so I got it as close as possible. Then I gave him an aggressive look, which I've been told he look's like he's dropping a dump in the toilet. So yah, that's my story.

Professor Tarantula Hedion University	Posted - 2009.12.02 21:56:00 - [12] I look quite a bit like a Caldari/Deteis in real life, but when i made my main i picked Minmatar/Sebiestor because i like their story background the most. If i could change his race now i probabaly would, and go with what i look more like in RL because races have no real impact on the game if you're a player and not an NPC. My deepest sympathies. This one looks comical on the website and in-game, but looked like a menacing Grand Moff Tarkin in the character editor. The other account had a character with very shiny skin by default, so I turned it down a notch. He now looks much darker than intended.

My very first toon was Caldari but once I realized that he looked very much like a fellow who works for me at work, I had to change him. I just can't live with associates haunting me in my excape mechanism. Edit: Hey...I've changed this toons portrait recently. How long does it take the forum cache to update????

I usually attempt that when I play any kind of character creation based game, helps me with immersion. But I guess its not terrible to look at a purdy face if thats what you want.
