No this isn't about PC version
Just was looking at buying a ps3 and found a couple of the games I wanted to get on it where only available on xbox.
So while thinking on this I started wondering what where the chances of dust being a Xbox only exclusive? rather than do research or look it up or something else intelligent I decided to just come to the forums and pose the question.

in the vid they we're using Xbox controllers, so if you think your xbox could survive that long get one of those

Dust isn't anywhere near being released and there is very little information to support that it will be coming to this generation of consoles. Buying a console now to play a game that might not even be released during the lifespan of the current gen consoles is a bit silly.
If you do get a PS3, make sure to pick up Metal Gear Solid 4. That game alone is worth getting a PS3. The Xbox is a solid console but it tends to fail. I haven't had this problem myself but a lot of people did. Either way, the multi-platform games you should probably just get on the PC.
In my opinion there's only a handful of PS3 and Xbox exclusives worth getting. If you're buying either console just for Dust, then I suggest you wait for its release.

hmm If CCP decide to launch Dust exclusive to an inferior console it would be an error.
No I'm not a sony fanboi, I own all three next gen consoles and apart from Xbox live being better than psn network atm the PS3 beats the 360 hands down.
There are many reasons for this but the main one is the dreaded red ring of death that plagues the 360 due to shoddy manufacturing.
My original ps3 is still good as new but im now on my 4th Xbox in as many years. A 360 is just a toy whilst the ps3 is a sophisticated piece of hardware.

wrong, CCP have clearly stated that Dust will be released for this generation of consoles, you calling them liars? 
And before anyone says "but ccp announced walking in stations in 2006 blah blah" Dust has been in development since at least 2006 as well and its obvious that the two will be rolled out together.

Some games which have already come out may be only available on the extreme box 360, but the next 5 years are going to be all about the PS3.

I'm getting Dust for my 360 instead of my PS3 (superior controller & everyone has a mic) & this kind of game always seems to do way better on the 360 anyway.
