I'm going to preface this by first saying that this entire situation was a real ****ing problem for me. I value honesty pretty highly, and don't like the idea that a director would ever lie. I'm also not necessarily a real hesitant dude to drop a bad egg. The crux of the problem here for me is that Bos isn't just a not bad dude, he's essential to our logistics efforts. He is the kind of hard working fuel monkey that is quite difficult to replace. Stampert in a Australian skin hanging loose yet leathery like a shar pei.

I don't think it should come as any surprise to any of you that I also have not always regarded pubbies that highly. The combination of those two items should at least help to understand why I had some degree of difficulty reconciling this solution. I can be a bit of a softy and a ***got when it comes to certain things. This will be one of them.

The situation as I understand it is as follows. Bos sponsors in this dude Kreunt. Why or how I'm still working on. That will not happen again. I don't like most goon sponserees much less pubbie sponsorees, but in fairness in the past Bos's sponsorees have been family members who help significantly.

So Bos sponsors in this dude and gives him a freighter among other things. Dude uses one of Bos's accounts, again why I have no ****ing idea and something that will be addressed in his punishment. Dude buys a dread and gets blown up and there's some **** where bos claims no insurance even though it was platinum insured, a cost of a few hundred mil to the corp.

Dude makes a ****ing terrible pubbie-esque thread in AAD, and I'm not just saying that because it was annoying to have to deal with, I'm saying it because it was a ****ing terrible thread. His sponsorship gets revoked and he gets kicked. This is what happens WHENEVER sponsorship is revoked. Sponsorship is for RL friends, not every pile of ****ing eve trash you slip across so no you can't sponsor him.

In this thread he claims that Bos owes him a dread. Bos doesn't believe this is the case because the guy got some cash and Bos gave him a freighter, so he considers it even. The angry pubbie posts a chatlog showing the **** with Bos getting extra money from the corp, and goons smell blood and attack.

Bos immediately comes to me and resigns.

I tell him that's ******ed and work out a suitable punishment that will allow goons a pound of flesh while allowing us the ability to reestablish trust.

Bos Tess will submit the full API key for both himself and every single sponsoree now and forever. This will allow us to audit his wallet and assets to prevent the possibility of skimming.

Bos Tess will pay for a dread for the corporation, which will be raffled off to a random goon to be lost in hilarious fashion.

Bos Tess will not be able to sponsor in random trash ever again.

I don't believe Bos's intent to have been malicious. Why toil for hours a day doing mindless bull**** for a few hundred mil isk? I think rather that it was a stupid mistake that will now be repaid with interest, while establishing some controls we need to ensure that the rabbit hole never goes any deeper.

I'm sure this won't please all of you, but believe me when I tell you this man busts his ****ing ass to keep your towers online, and that's important to me becuase there's no ****ing way I'm doing it and likely no ****ing way you are either.
