EACS anniversary
Today EACS, EVE's leading jumpclone service, celebrates it's first anniversary. EACS' free and universal service has proven that it fills a need: in the year since the service started, more than 4000 capsuleers used the service to create jumpclones. Apart from a short break due to technical issues, applications to EACS were processed daily for the entire year.
Share issue
To celebrate the anniversary, I'm making 4999 EACS shares available to the general public for 1 million isk per share.
Note: these shares are symbolic only! You will get an actual share of EACS but you will not get any benefits such as dividends or meaningfull voting rights. You can get shares for collection purposes, for e-peen, or as a show of support for EACS.
I wish to be absolutely clear on this: there are no benefits other than whatever personal motivation you have to buy shares.
The money I raise with selling these shares has no immediate purpose, but there are a couple of things I'm thinking of doing/getting done for which I simply lack the funds (I grind lots of missions for standings, but they are mostly low-paying courier missions and soon I'll even be running level 1 missions).
How to get shares:
Wire 1M isk (or multiples thereof if you want more shares) to my character Estel Alt, I will then transfer as many shares to you as you paid for.
The money has to be sent to Estel Alt so that transactions meant for the shares won't get lost among other transactions on my main. If you want to make sure you're sending the isk to the right character: Estel Alt is the CEO of Defensie Industries [.DI..]
Shares will be distributed at least once a day; if you haven't received your shares 24 hours after payment give me a poke.
If you make a mistake sending isk to Estel Alt (too little/too much/wrong char), please let me know; I'm always open to fixing mistakes.
Availability
EACS currently has 100000 shares, of which I'm selling 4999 now. I'm only selling less than 5% of the shares to rule out any possibility of a 'hostile takeover'.
I reserve the right to sell and/or create more shares (for instance with future anniversaries), so don't count on your shares increasing in value because of scarcity (and if they do, don't expect it to last forever).
I will not buy back shares once sold, though you are free to sell your shares to other people. If you'd like me to act as a broker that is possible, just contact me in advance. (Never send me shares without talking to me first!)

Thanks for the offer, I'll have a look at your standings this weekend.
Since EACS already has so many standings, the problem with having people boost standings is that they can raise standings for some corps, but at the same time pull down standings for other corps. That's why I have to look at the exact effects in detail.
