imo its not quantity of killmails, which would make a pilot l33t.
Its his fittings, his ability to avoid enemys who would blow him up, analys a situation fast and acts much faster. And ofc the killerinstinct :) Someone who is afraid of loosing his ship wont be as effective as someone who doesnt care.

Also someone with high amount of combat relevant SP will have it much easier to kill someone with less SP.

Well I'd say kilwise TWD seems to be the man, certianly earned that title over a long long time from many highly respected people in them selves.
Homo is, whilst less active on the killing front has more provado and guile. How many people do you know gets into a silver magnate and messes with the entire M0o fleet and still have the ship saftly back into his hanger at the end of the day.
I look forward to Evolutions visit to fountain as I too have nice cruiser setup that I'd like to 1v1 with TWD 
Also remember that alot of kills are due to the dedication of support people, now if you asked who was best support peep, well, that would be a tough one as most are unsang heroes. but there are a fair few old ex m0o who realy know how to ecm the crap outer ya and I bet they dont officialy get many kills, but make plenty.

Best pvper in the game...hmmm that is a tough one. I would have to vote for Lordmix. He is a very skilled pilot and loves to pvp. I have seen TWD around and he kicks some tail, so best cruiser pilot would go to him. But best overall eve pilot would have to be Lordmix.

Best Apoc driver, I'd have to say is Kileak, not many mention him on the boards and he is pretty quiet,but if you fight him your in for a rude awakening,fighting him is like playing russian roullet with six in the chamber.
Best gankageddon pilot would be Sass fought him once on one of the test servers befor gankageddons got big,still haven't fought anyone who compairs to him in a gankageddon.
As far as Raven pilots go, Tank CEO is still tops on my list.
Crusiers without a doubt TWD. The last time mOo was in Pf-346 hard core I fought them and he was a pain in the ass to fight.

The two best fleet commanders I have ever flown with were Cao Cao and Sir Molle. I fought 3 times under Cao Cao and a simlar number with Molle when I tagged along with LOD. Both were amazing. Since then I knew why people feared both of them.

Its really pretty easy to become the best with ur ship, learn what works and doesn't,then look at how most people fight against it and then defend against that as well as try to factor in a lethal amount of fire power. If you can balance offense and defense then you know ur ship. Usually if you go all offense you will get creamed cuz you have a glass jaw someting I learned with my scorps, if you go all defense you won't have enough punch to get yourself out of a jam, so its finding the balance of both and learning how to use it, its kinda like the xen of pvp.
Know your ship,know your enemy and you know your path.

First in, last out, primary target. If theres a fleetbattle and we loose 1 ship, its going to be me.
