I have been looking for a way to keep track of market prices, blueprints, and orders all together. More specifically I have been trying to make an excel sheet to calculate how many minerals, at an average price across several regions, it takes to build an item with a certain ME, and then compare to the average highest sell price across several region to determine profit. While yes, I can do this and have it mostly working, what I can not do is change the regions I am looking at. I would also like to be able to pull ME levels straight from the API, if possible, for all BP's in corp possession. Or at the very least get the list and be able to set the levels myself.
In all I am looking for a comprehensive Production/Business Manager for EVE. Unfortunately I have no programing skills to undertake this project alone. However, I do have a solid idea for look and functionality and would like to collaborate with someone if there is no program already out there like this. |

Hello Jierin,
Originally by: Jieirn Devau I would also like to be able to pull ME levels straight from the API, if possible, for all BP's in corp possession. Or at the very least get the list and be able to set the levels myself.
ME/PE levels are not available through the API.
For a list of char/corp posessions, you can use any Asset Manager (at work I use EVE Asset Manager from Heavy Duck - but it's been long out of date).

My application EVE Blueprint and Order Tracker is on it's way to doing what you're talking about. It can track your orders and the blueprints associated with them, and you can easily see if you're selling at a profit.
ME/PE can be pulled from the IndustryJobs API, but not from assets, thus you can only pull ME/PE from blueprints in production. I have a batch job that periodically does this for my user's blueprints.
Market prices can't be pulled from the API, this is why something like EVE Central exists. They do have an API though, but the accuracy of their data is proportional to the generosity of their users. I plan on adding support for this in my app at some point. Currently users can manually set their own mineral prices and the bill of materials is calculated from that. |
