Deep breath everyone, moment of Zen. They will fix it. This is what happens to us Mac users every time they deploy a new patch. Part of the price we pay for having better built, better looking, better working computers is having to exist in a bit of a "fringe" market. CCP knows about these issues, has acknowledged them, and is working on it. Put on Battleship V in the time being and relax

I don't think that's real solid reasoning, there. Either you support a mac client or you don't. Supporting it involves some degree of testing, and the sheer volume of freezes/crashes and other issues don't make this look very well tested. I'd "chill" a bit more if I weren't paying to play the game.

I think that if the Mac community had a working SiSi client sooner than a few days before release of an expansion, it would help do away with a lot of these problems.

1) Remember that Testing can only go so far, sometimes things slip through, programmers & testers are human after-all. What counts is that CCP & Transgaming are actively pursuing the issue and fixing it in a reasonable time. Can't tell you how many Mac ports get pushed out then ignored forever. (I'm looking at you Aspyr...)
2) I've experienced a couple of slowdowns when running multiple clients, but otherwise haven't had a problem after nearly 24 hours in game since patchday. You can't assume from a handful of people screaming on the forums that a problem is widespread and that CCP is negligent.

"He only hits me because I make him mad"
It's not really my job to test software which I am paying for-- I do that for a living already. As a result, I know that things do slip through from time to time, and some of those things can be pretty ugly. However, program ganking failures with a 'workaround' of playing them silently after spending the time to reset ones settings after trashing the preferences folder rather strikes me as something which should have been caught in normal testing.
I believe CCP/Transgaming are on top of it (judging from forum posts on the subject), but "chill" isn't a solid response to a vexing set of problems.
