For the longest time having a EVE Online related website, whether it be a blog or corporate site, was a real out of game activity. It was difficult to do anything useful on the ingame browser. THANK GOD FOR DOMINION!
The new browser is awesome! This new quality of life upgrade has really improved how EVE players can interact on the internets! Now having a corporate site is something that ALL corps should look into, because what better way to recruit than to show them your website full of information about your corp! CCP has done their job, now its time for the community to step in...
Take advantage of the new browser and get your own website about EVE! Be it a blog, or a corporate site, or just a picture gallery... it all benefits the EVE community!

It was already possible to go to ANY websites before 
It is called "Window Mode".
It works pretty well. The community has already some great websites who work with it. Eve Central, Eve Files, etc...
So congratulations, you just discover the Internet that everybody already use 
We also had a good jukebox before. It is called "Foobar2000" or "Winamp"

Yes you *could* visit sites... But it was annoying playing in window mode, or tabbing in and out all the time. Now you have no excuse not to visit a corp site or whatever.. since its available ingame I foresee a lot more use of Corp sites for recruitment.
