Been working on standings with Boundless Creation so i could use a nommy Q16 R&D agent. Need 6.8 standings to access him, mine is 6.82, and he shows in the list (in station) when docked as "available to you" however, when i try and talk to him, he tells me to go away and find someone farther down the ladder. Any ideas? Havent had this issue before.

Prolly should have mentioned that.
I have the relavent skill (Nuclear engineering) at 3 atm, and was able to use a slightly lower quality level 4 R&D agent (Q9) for the same corp with no problems (started him while i wait for Research Project Management to train) so i dont think this is skill related. Maybe just need a touch more standing, but wierd that he shows as available.

Log out, log back in. Talk to agent again.

R&D agent ?
Do you have the Faction standings secondary requirement as well as Corporation standing?

Happened to me a few times. Logging in and out seemed to clear whatever bug the agent had up his butt.

This was it, need 4.8 standings with Minny Republic, am at 4.75 atm

If your corp standing with Boundless Creation is 6.8 or higher, it doesn't matter what your faction standing is. If your faction standing was over 6.8, you'd still need 4.8 or higher standing with Boundless Creation to talk to the R&D agent.
When it comes to agents being listed as 'available' versus not interacting with you when you talk to them, the problem is usually resolved by logging out and back in again. The agent won't be listed as available if you don't have the appropriate standings.
