Edited by: SpaceTruckers on 06/12/2009 13:37:19 I have been T2 building for over a year now, so i know the ins and outs etc, however what puzzles me is this. Lets take the zealot for example, a very popular HaC.
Going off figures taken today, it costs 134mil to buy all the components ready made to build a zealot. That doesn't include the decryptors, RAM - starship tech, omen etc. You take all that into account and a guestimate would be nearer 160mil.
To build the components costs 129mil. If you include the decryptors and the omen (T1 ship variable) it's more like 145mil.
So this is why i am confused, why on earth are the prices 112mil in jita and dropping, when people must be making a loss. Because those numbers speak for them selves. Even someone with a BPO would be making very little profit out of it.
So if someone could tell me, i'd appreciate it.

Edited by: Sakai Kando on 06/12/2009 14:03:52 they were probably built before the materials changed, the people selling them probably just want to liquidate.

It's the same situation with a lot of ships right now.
Buy and reprocess or buy and keep for later if you have extra isk.

Building a Zealot only costs 99,545,490 isk by my calculations, buying components off the jita market.
Scam OP?

i just got 99 mil using current jita prices.
The only logical conclusion is that the OP has invested in Zealots and is trying to drive the price up here. Also, materials like carbide plates are dropping like stones. Any t2 would be a poor investment right now.

well someone does the costs, then when everyone else goes to check the prices have changed so much. There is also the sell orders vs buy orders group.

im guessing that the op might be using invented bpcs, that could account for price differences.

i have a spread sheet that tells me everything, and i just input everything and hey prendo that's the answer i go, so those numbers are accurate for that particular day.
To me, it doesn't seem logical for them to be selling at that price when they know they can get more, which is annoying.
Anyway, i think i got my answer

Have you updated the spreadsheet to account for the changed material requirements introduced with Dominion by the way?
I know it took me several hours to update my spreadsheet, and it just contains a handful of items.

Hulk prices seemed to be shooting through the roof last time I checked, which was yesterday. Is that all just manipulation?

Partly, although the general consensus (if that's possible on an internet forum sigh) is that as the required materials are supplied more the prices will go down for a while.

I'm just a complex reaction product seller... Dominion really made me a happy person - CC is 130 per (as of a week ago, not sure now), hulks cost 2x as much CC as they did before the patch. That more or less means you need around 78m worth of CC to build a hulk (plus a coveteor and loads of other materials, etc).
Dominion finally made reactions profitable. Thank GOD. :) And I am really surprised too, the prices before the patch were like... 95? That's 50% rise in price within a few days.
