What's the most cost-effective way of firing up another account at the mo?

I'd have to go with starting up a trial account.
Veal, murder. Baby Carrots, healthy snack. Food hypocrisy at work. |

Send yourself a buddy invite.
You'll get a 21 day trial account, and when you pay for a month on it you will get 30 days credited to your main account - basically making the buddy account 51 days of free time.
I believe you can also convert the trial account using a plex, and get the free time too, but if I recall right, you will need to put in a petition to get the 30 days credited to your other account.

I'd concur with this, this is how I started my 2nd account, plus it's a good way to get friends into the game too, they help you get free game time. Result!

Save for a PLEX, invite yourself using the Buddy system, activate the buddy using the PLEX. No money changes hands, ever. You even have 21 days to save up for the Buddy's PLEX, which will end up crediting your main account a free 30 days.
Can't really get more cost effective than that, without simply turning off the computer and abandoning the Internet.

Ok I'm trying to follow up the last post and have created a buddy request. However when I send it to myself, I get a "you can only have one trial at a time"
Well that's now my main? And i mailed CCP via the web site but got no response...
YO CCP!!! I'm trying to give you my money for a third account! Can you help pls?!?

Use a different email address?
I wouldn't know I guess, since I created my second account from the Special Edition box set.

You cannot log into the game with both accounts if one is in a trial phase.
2 Payed accounts, fine. Three payed accounts, fine. One payed account and one trial = No. Two payed accounts and one trial = No.

i really need to get a 2nd account, im getting bored, and i always need someone to get me stuff from highsec from me, and its frustrating when no one is one. But im really concerned about is the time, to train my new alt to where i am, and i really dont have that time, but i guess it will have to do, or i can just find some faction loot and sell it for like billions and buy a new alt? sounds promising!
