I think so but trying it is not recommended even if it will work. Use a Carrier with bonuses to that sort of thing like an intelligent person. ** Disclaimer: Author sometimes spell checks but is not responsible for sins of commission, omission, emission, transmission, or submission. Dreads really don't have utility hislots for repping, either. The Nag might have been able to pull it off pre-nerf.

I didn't say you weren't. But for the record, are you intending to exclusively rep with it? As in, not shoot at anything at all?
If so, and you can't hop in a carrier, fit it however you like.

Doesn't the siege module severly hit your locking speed and restrict you to only 2 locked targets? I kind of get the appeal of fitting reps to a dread - capital reps would be very effective at supporting BS on a station or something - but with the very low scan resolution and 2 locked targets, I think it would probably take too long to move the reps from one ship to another. ________________

still don't understand why you wouldnt fly a triage carrier. Tbh, removing 1 turret from a dread makes them kinda ******ed

perhaps this is the latest incarnation of the station huggin low sec moron ehm *moros* setups, fight with drones and rep with reppers your freidnly BS, when things turn to you and tank suffers or oyu get knocked off station, hit the "save me jeebus" button for a huge tank boost.
justa thought.

Nice guess Dr Fighter! Close enough. On carrier can I store stront in corporate hangar plus inside ships in ship maintenance bay and move it in space to fuel bay?

ok first off that question makes little sense no matter how many times you ask it
second, im sorry but your repping dread idea simply fails. A carrier would do the same job 200x better, although now if you agro people on station randomly someone will just drop a titan on you and pop you.

Edited by: Jainia Soltella on 07/12/2009 19:03:50 Yes you can put stront in your corporate hangar (and pretty sure it can be moved to your fuel bay. I know you can move stuff from corp hangar to the cargo bay, which would still allow your triage module to get to it.)
But no it can't be put in the cargohold in ships in your ship maintenance bay, you can only store charges (Ammo, crystals, cap boosters & scripts) in ships there. (And drones in the drone bay...)
And just as a... 5th or 6th, Just use a triage carrier expect it to die. You can have 2 or 3 of them fit and ready to go for the price of a dread, and look far less stupid in the process.
If you are going for the surprise factor... might be better just to setup a Sisi client and try it out there instead of asking about it on the forums.

Edited by: Born2BeWild on 07/12/2009 19:52:58 eh I said sort of. I am not interested if you think it is smart or not I know the background of the idea.
Thing with storing ore inside of te ships in ship maintenance bay work on orca so I would suspect it will work in carrier too?
If I could test it on sisi I would do it so. I dont know if I want to skill carriers at all. I cant fly them yet.
