Imagine your gate camp engaging a single vessel, when suddenly 20 or 30 more ships appear out of nowhere and mayhem ensues. That's the fun of a hot drop, and it's fun on the receiving end as much as the delivering one. How about a fleet of destroyers - 30 of the little buggers out for a roam? That's some serious DPS in a very fun, inexpensive package. These are things we do for fun in our universe. Discounted ship purchase, ship replacement, logistics to and from empire space, all part and parcel in A.Sec. Come fly with a group of mature players who are here for fun and explosions. I'm a converted carebear growing into my own in 0.0 PvP, and A.Sec is a great group of guys to grow and fly with.
Pierre Dumonte Aurora Security Art of Defiance	Posted - 2010.01.07 14:50:00 - [13] tired of the daily blob? waiting around in a huge fleet sitting at a POS, then titan bridging or flying several jumps just to sit and wait again is not my idea of getting the most for my money. sure the fights can be epic and history making, but really in the end was it worth the wait for those few seconds of glory or disaster? what if you can get true excitement, challenge and danger in a smaller force. sneaking in behind enemy lines and creating havoc and risking it all to destroy larger forces with just a few ships. Have you ever wondered what it would be like to run solo in an arazu and singling out and tackling a dominix with drones out and he has active friends in local? Have you wondered what kind of adrenaline rush you would get when your overview fills with hostile battle cruisers and other support as you pop a covert cyno and are now stuck in one place as the domi's drones start flashing red? Have you ever felt the exhilaration and relief as the system fills with friendly fleet members being bridged in from a black ops battleship several light years away and you watch as the hostile fleet melts and your arazu warps away on fire? Well I can tell you first hand that there is NOTHING in this game that compares to that kind of small fleet thrill. We do some invention/manufacturing, and even dabble in Tech 3 reverse engineering. We have some industrial work ongoing, since we supply almost all our own ammunition and T1 ships. Although we are a combat-focused corp, we recognize and respect our industrial members, and the work they perform. If you want to share in the fun of a small PvP corp by providing industrial backup and maybe even shoot a few bad guys, come visit us ingame in Aurora's Diner channel!
