Inspired by the Ferengi rules of acquisition
1. You WILL lose a ship, someday, somehow.
2. Never fly a ship you can't afford to lose.
3. If it could be a trap, it probably is.
4. If it could be a scam, it probably is.
5. When buying items watch the decimal point.
6. When selling items watch the decimal point.
7. Always keep a skill in training.
8. NEVER fly a ship before you have the skills and fittings to fly it properly.
9. Know the security level of the systems around you.
10. Lo sec means PVP. Remember rule 3.
11. Always warp to 0 if going through lo sec. No autopilot.
12. Prices will vary.
13. If you think it is cool it will cost you lots of ISK or take a lot of skill points. Probably both.
14. Every ship has a weakness.
15. If you MUST buy it NOW, go to Jita.
16. If you MUST sell it NOW, go to Jita.
17. Cargo hauler in lo sec are juicy targets.
18. In hi sec, fleet does not equal corp to CONCORD. Shoot at friends in jest with care.
19. Read the warning popups enough to understand them. See rule 20.
20. Trash it... is next to make active on the menu. This may not seem like a big deal until you are sleep deprived or alcohol impared. CCP, fix this.
21. Always train a long running skill before a patch or downtime.

43. You can't get to the Eve Gate.
44. Self Destruct is not a bad option.

11. Not really. If you suspect a smartbombing gatecamp it might be best to scout it from 100 km away first.

uh... then why have people got pics of it by going to the system? or do you mean you can't fly up to it once you are in system.

You can reach the system, but not actually reach the gate. Pre-dominion screenshot of the EVE Gate
