I used the render model map on gm_atomic to inflate the EVE-Ships to nearly full size, to give us EVE pilots a reference as to how big these ships are, just in case you were curious.
Video: Almost-Full-Size EVE Ships
For those who want to experiment with this, these are the required addons (Any map with a rendered backdrop works, gm_atomic is a good choice because of its wide open areas)

Well like he said in the video, the ships aren't fully to scale, they're just as large as they can be rendered in G-Mod. Still, it's cool to see ships in large scale like that. I wish you could have done more shots from the ground, because when you fly right up to them it's hard to get a sense of scale without something to compare them to.

That's really quite impressive. Thank you for posting it.
It's a shame we didn't get to see more Battleships, but perhaps the map constrained your options there.... As a Charon pilot, it'd be good to see that in scale, too.... Guess it wouldn't fit?

Really liked the second video. A real life comparison of ship sizes to a building is what I really wanted to see.
Be really cool if you could build a small town or something to scale and then put the ships in flying over.

Awesome video mate. If nothing else, CCP better let us do strafing runs on planets in Dust... ;)
Great work!

That is really cool and i was wondering if you knew how to make a bigger map so we could see more? If it is possible that would be the coolest, i would love to see a tempest or maelstrom and even maybe a titan eventually if its even possible.

Now of course the next completely logical step is to start properly modeling the interior of the ship so we can walk all the decks!
