Nothing encourages people still in their trial to quit more than reading these forums and realizing just how horribly anti-social the douchebags who play this game truly are, they are unique in MMOs, even players of other dorky MMOs think eve players are dorks.
If I could find them all I would break all their noses (Jay and silent Bob style), but because I can't be assed, I'll just hope really hard they all get testicular cancer (You know who you are you misanthropic troglodytes).

Actually after reading in general since i am away for around a month. i notice there is a lot of veteran player who thinks their damn smart cause of they are good in eve, flaming and bashing those newbie who are in rage. you guys are just scary ppl away. i thought of bringing a friend in to try the game but after he see this posts by the smart ppl. he got quite turn off . lol guess you guys prefer "smart" but small community.
Most of the people playing just train to fly something everyone said was good, using a popular fitting they saw on Battleclinic, and play the way everyone says is the right way to play. The whole "I R smart" attitude you see on most people here is pure ego. Very few have original thoughts and try out new things, out of fear they'll be mocked for it.
Anyway, don't let the jerks bother you. Like all MMO communities they make up the majority.
