Hi @all.
Since Dominion I canŠt use my jukebox playing all songs in a loop. Everytime I start a song, it wonŠt continue to the next in queue. This also happens whenever I warp via an acceleration gate - the battle-sound plays automatically, but when it ends it wonŠt continue with the standard queue.
Btw - I use the default EVE-music and all songs are visible inside the jukebox.
IŠd be glad if someone got an idea...

I had this problem as well with the standard playlist!
What fixed it for me was basically having a program like Winamp or Foobar2000:
1.) open player 2.) locate EVE main folder, locate res/audio/Jukebox folder (res->audio->Jukebox) 3.) drag&drop or load all MP3 files from that folder into your player 4.) save list under the name inflight.m3u parallel to your MP3 files in the Jukebox folder 5.) Enjoy a running continuous playlist once again!

Confirmed.
Tends to play one song and then stops.
I'd love to see this fixed soon.

As of Dominion 1.0.3, this problem still exists.
The jukebox is playing one song (sometimes a few songs), then stops.
Also, the music will never resume after going through an accel gate that triggers its own special "fight music". The special music will play until it's done and then there will be silence.

Of the 67 songs in the built-in playlist, there's 15 that (for me) cause the jukebox not to go to the next song after they play. The 15 "bad" songs are: Below the Asteroids Costs of Conflict Green Nebula In The Depth Of Space Merchants, Looters and Ghosts Omens Path Of The Cursed Point of No Return Primordial Star Clouds Seek And You Shall Find The Hunt The Jovian Front The Solidary Pilot War Relics Where Evil Lurks
In addition to the jukebox stopping after playing any of these songs, I also have the issue that if I go through an acceleration gate that has a song linked to it, the jukebox stops after playing the acceleration gate tune once.
By building a custom play list that excludes the above 15 songs, I've been able to get continuous play.

I have the same problem.
Please petition this, it seams that you are miles ahead of CCP on this. They are trying to fix jukebox, they did the "custom" playlist fix for last patch, but they don't seams to realize that their original playlist is screwed up.

Jukebox stops for me on all of these. It also stops playing after the following for me:
I Saw Your Ship Love, Honour and Obey Surplus of Rare Artifacts Theme of the Universe We Fight Proud for the Holder
Edit: Missed some songs

The reason seems to be: It can't handle relative paths very well.
What fixed it for me was basically having a program like Winamp which can read extended file lists:
1.) get a tool like exStuff Explorer 2.) start tool, locate resPlaylists.stuff and extract content into the directory path res/Audio/Jukebox inside your EVE main folder if it doesn't exist there otherwise skip straight to 3.) 3.) load the extracted inflight.m3u into WinAmp and save it at another drive (forces WinAmp to write the absolute paths into the file) in m3u format under any name you want 4.) if 2.) was true then delete the previously extracted inflight.m3u 5.) copy the file you generated in 3.) where you want to or leave it 6.) now the tricky part, generating the file name with proper path, right-click file in explorer and copy&paste the path, replace :\ by :\\, add a \ at the end of the string followed by the actual name of the playlist file 7.) Enjoy a running continuous playlist once again!
PS: You may still need to manually start the music player in the game but from there it should be as usual. It may work similar for custom playlist, the often overlooked parts are: playlist must contain absolute paths, the path to the playlist must be proper like C:\\EVE\myplaylist.m3u
Good job but..sorry to say... we dont have the obligation to make all of those things since after Dominion the jukebox was playing nice...at least for me...still u deserve credit for finding a solution. ;)

Hi folks
I also had the problem with the "infinite looping jukebox" since the last update. And I guess I found (one of) the reasons...and finally the solution to fix it :
I had an app installed called "Nokia OVI Suite" which is used to transfer sound on my mobil phone. This includes also the Nokia OVI player which has the exact same loop problem.
After complete uninstall of the Player and the Suite, deleting the persistent Nokia Folders under "Program Files" and a cleanup of the registry with "Eusing Free Registry Scanner" on my WIN XP device, the jukebox works great....with internal sounds and also with imported MP3s
Try this workaround if you have this nerving loop problem, it fixed it for me and now the feeling in space is much better again
cheers Inner

Yeah. Let's get a lot of fixes to this junkbox. Mine work too well, so well that i cant stop it and i dont want it to play. I remember there was a opportunity to stop the player but now i cant. I can only pause it and when i relog it starts playing again. Are there a way to stop it for good? . Dont help to remove the music files.

That's great, but the players have been told time and time again by CCP that Singularity in no way can be guaranteed to represent that which is published to Tranquility.
As a result, why would we spend time testing in an environment that may or may not actually represent the environment in which we play? Are we now to trust that stuff on Singularity will definitely make it up to Tranquility and thus make it worth our [valuable] time to test?

so what you're saying is that we shouldn't bother testing stuff on the test server purly for the fact that it may or may not be on TQ?

In the past (almost) all patches for TQ recheived some last minute changes compared to what was deployed on SISI. Some of the features on TQ probably never existed on SISI before the patch hit the production system.
Testing a release that will not be shipped in that way is indeed a waste of time and resources. It's not a total waste but eventually it will allow new problems to be shipped undetected.
I don't think that testing on SISI is completely pointless but I do feel the release procedure severely reduces the effectiveness of player testing.
