the oly reason i dont want 2 go no def, long range is cause its kidna suicidal if i have 2 go through a patch of unsafe system.
Tanking wise, wat do i need to coutner a large rep. I found that 3 t2 cap rechargers and 2 relays work.

4 * cap rechargers
Low:
1 * L repairer
1 * med repairer
2-3 hardners
2-3 cap relays
Good tanking and okish damage...might switch a medslot recharger for a web.

The reason he uses a medium repairer over a large one is to save cap and power grid...

I can. Simply put, you don't have the skills to decently pilot your Megathron. Looking at your initial set up, it's obvious that you've no clue what you're fitting or what you want your ship to do, nor do you have the necessary skills to outfit your ship decently for battle (except against empire cruiser spawns), such as engineering 5, electronics 5, weapon upgrades, etc etc.
Simply put, lay off the mega, stick to a cruiser and train up your skills before you fly your mega. It's just a 105 million ISK tincan with you in it, anyway.

You leave the med repairer going non stop. Just fire off the large when you need it. Its just another way of mitigating damage.

I agree on that, if you can't fly a ship tp it's full potential it's just an Expensive Coffin.
Also you should consider Kiddie->English Classes.

thats a stupid way to look at it, because with the same thoery u cant fly any ship till u have lvl5 skills. the better your skills, the better the setup ON ANY SHIP. At which point ur idea calapses. go away

if you post for advice and people reccomend that a 3 month old avatar will not last long in a BS that one can bearly pilot, listen to them.
getting your first BS is very exciting and rewarding when handled well, but losing it in your first bs spawn is no fun.
you will do well to fly what you can handle for at least a couple of months, if you trawl through previous newbie post you'll see time and time again people, experianced people, reccomend not getting a BS in your first 5 months.
and you certainly dont seem ready for 0.0 space. not evan being able to armour tank, you wouldn't evan make it through the blockades.
