Ctrl+Both Left/Right Mouse Keys - What is this feature?
It seems very hard to adjust it as well, it seems to be very buggy - but some sort of perspective control, but it gets very oddly distorted pretty quick on trying to adjust it and doesn't seem to have a "reset" ability.

Edited by: Valandril on 12/12/2009 00:10:29 It's not a feature but bug that is tormenting eve since 2006. It was supposed to be fixed multiple times.
Update: checked my bugreports, note next to reporting this issue: Fixed in: Revelations 2.2.0

Just seems to be a camera control to me. Works fine here. I was just playing with it in a station. ----- If you kill all the wolves, your gonna end up with a crapload of bunnies, and by bunnies I mean stupid people Eve & Linux Woot! |

If by not work you actually mean it does nothing in station... you're mistaken.
If by not work you actually mean it does not behave the same as in space... you may be right.
*undocks*
You're incorrect. It does exactly the same thing outside of the station as it does inside. No buggy perspective, just moves me closer or further away from the ship. Zooms closer than the traditional zoom would but no graphical glitches here. ----- If you kill all the wolves, your gonna end up with a crapload of bunnies, and by bunnies I mean stupid people Eve & Linux Woot! |

This feature works really well for video production and screenshots. I for one say keep it, or refine it. But get rid of it? Nay. ---------------------------------------------

Aye, I think of this as a feature, too. Great for locking your camera at a certain zoom level for video productions.
Up/Down motion adjusts camera distance just like normal Left-then-Right mouse button panning, and Left/Right motion adjusts camera zoom just like normal Right-then-Left mouse button zooming, only the zoom is persistent until you unzoom via the same method.
And in addendum to above, it is actually the only way to zoom your camera in station.
