So much for that getting fixed.
Noticed it with Blood & Merc rats so far.
How long have they been trying to fix this ?

Its already in their defect system thus "patching it", and I have 3 bug reports sitting waiting for replies ! 3 Petitions, they seem under staffed too :P
I was pretty sure QA id meant to test every thing in a patch, apparently they don't.

Not just cruisers or BCs. I've gotten frigate loot from BS's as well.

How can you expect NPC ships drop proper loots if you can win a 1vs50 battle without your shield/armor ever dropping below 90%?

Maybe I've run too many missions, but it seems the loot is getting crappier all the time. Just for grins I did a Level 3 "Silence the Informant" and the pleasure hub dropped some R.A.M. items and 50 janitors. (must have been a food fetish pleasure hub to need all those guys).
The missions used to drop science skillbooks, but haven't seen any of those for awhile.
Seems like a lot of T1 stuff instead of named items, and the aforementioned BSs dropping 1mn ABs.
I remember getting a True Sansha small (or was it medium?) Control Tower BP ratting in an 0.5 system. Fat chance of that ever happening again.

The entire loot table needs to be shorted out.
T1 should be removed from the loot table, I collected over 300 250mm Railgun I's over 3 weeks. How is anyone producing these surpose to make a profit ? They are bulky and worth only mineral cost or in some cases less.
Items such as the 1mn ab's need a few more meta variants, and these need to be put in the correct loot drops of the correct ships.
If the players can create a NPC ships database listing size and attributes. Surely CCP can fix it so the correct size modules drop out of rats.
