Hey, I'm looking for a good ratting ishtar fitting, I've been away from the game for a long time and just coming back to it to give it some love again, anyone know of a good ratting ishtar fit? Preferably unlimited damage (dps) and unlimited perma tank/repair all that, thanks :) very much appreciated. |

with some plexes you need more tank, with belts you need more dps.
for plexes: [Ishtar, ishtar guristas armor 1mar]
Experimental 10MN Afterburner I Large Capacitor Battery II 2x Cap Recharger II Federation Navy Omnidirectional Tracking Link
Armor Kinetic Hardener II Reactive Armor Hardener Medium Armor Repairer II 2x Drone Damage Amplifier II
Medium Nanobot Accelerator I Medium Auxiliary Nano Pump I
drones as you like. speed tanks alot of plexes.
for belts i don't use ishtar due to low dps(i have about 1k dps in talos for belt ratting). you could take reactive hardener and put one more Drone Damage Amplifier II for more dps.

Change one DDAII to Exp/EM hardener if you are up against something else than Serpentis/Guristas. You won't really use the blasters probably and the AB has situational use too, so your cal should be stable with two reppers. If you want go to LS/null you need a different fit completely.
[Ishtar, serps] Drone Damage Amplifier II Drone Damage Amplifier II Centii A-Type Adaptive Nano Plating Medium Armor Repairer II Medium Armor Repairer II
10MN Afterburner II Sensor Booster II Cap Recharger II Cap Recharger II Cap Recharger II
Heavy Ion Blaster II, Void M Heavy Ion Blaster II, Void M Heavy Ion Blaster II, Void M Small Tractor Beam II Salvager I
Medium Capacitor Control Circuit I Medium Capacitor Control Circuit I
Garde II x5 Ogre II x5 Hobgoblin II x5 Vespa EC-600 x5 Hammerhead II x5

This is my null and low plexer/anom ratter updated to use Drone Damage Amps:
[Ishtar, The ****** has Neutrons Inferno]
Centum C-Type Medium Armor Repairer Dark Blood Armor Kinetic Hardener Dark Blood Armor Thermic Hardener Internal Force Field Array I Drone Damage Amplifier II
Federation Navy Omnidirectional Tracking Link Federation Navy Omnidirectional Tracking Link Imperial Navy Cap Recharger 10MN Afterburner II Medium 'Gattotte' Capacitor Booster, Navy Cap Booster 400
Core Probe Launcher I /OFFLINE Heavy Neutron Blaster II, Void M Heavy Neutron Blaster II, Void M Heavy Neutron Blaster II, Void M Prototype Cloaking Device I
Medium Auxiliary Nano Pump I Medium Sentry Damage Augmentor I
Garde II x1 Hobgoblin II x5 Hornet EC-300 x5 Warden II x5 Garde II x5
795 dps (582 Garde IIs + 213 Void) 512 hp/s against Guristas, 562 against Serps
Cycling the repper every now and then is plenty enough for most situations (speed/sig tanking with AB on), so the cap booster charges never run out. As soon as you get aggro (don't wait for it, drop sentries as soon as you can and one-shot all small ships... assuming system is safe so you can move away from the warp-in point later) you can start burning to battleship rats and apply blaster dps.
Keep CNAM, Null and Exile in cargo bay. Drugged and with an armor booster alt this turns into a pretty serious tanker, 50K EHP, 1499 hp/s against Guristas.
Alternative, untested drone dps -emphasizing small gun fit:
[Ishtar, Tiny guns Inferno]
Centum C-Type Medium Armor Repairer Reactive Armor Hardener Internal Force Field Array I Drone Damage Amplifier II Drone Damage Amplifier II
Federation Navy Omnidirectional Tracking Link Federation Navy Omnidirectional Tracking Link Imperial Navy Cap Recharger 10MN Afterburner II Medium 'Gattotte' Capacitor Booster, Navy Cap Booster 400
Core Probe Launcher I /OFFLINE 125mm Railgun II, Javelin S 125mm Railgun II, Javelin S 125mm Railgun II, Javelin S Prototype Cloaking Device I
Medium Sentry Damage Augmentor I Medium Sentry Damage Augmentor I
Garde II x1 Hobgoblin II x5 Hornet EC-300 x5 Warden II x5 Garde II x5
678 Garde dps, no idea how it tanks, or how usable small rails are in practice, but that's pretty much the max practical sentry dps you get out of an armor Ishtar. Some people prefer passive shield tanks, but I wouldn't use sentries without 2 Omnidirectional Tracking links.

my fit is for null.. you can do up to 8/10 with it. with such speed and resists cruise missiles hit for 1 or 2 dmg. no probs with frigs aswell. your fit is well overtanked |

Me, personally, would not enter low/null without a mwd+cloak, since I am mostly what one would call a carebear. Also the mids for my ls/null Ishtar would have some sort of interdiction. |

i'm sorry, i thought your first line was reference to my post. you don't need cloak+mwd in null if you're in alliance with sovereignty and good intel channels. |
