When I start it up, it fails to entertain me. I blame EVE.

1.Stand on the arena in Nagrand. 2.Join Instance LFG system. 3.Invite people to run an instance with you. 4.Summon them to the TOP Nagrand Arena, where you can only fly to reach. 5.As soon as they get there, kick from group and kill them. Now they can't get back to their corpse and have to take the rez sickness and repair bill. 6.Do this until they start a raid to kill you(Yes, they will). 7.Log out and get back to Eve.
Bonus: If you're a miner, you can play Eve WHILE you **** with WoW players.

Yeah, but WoW really uses the carrot on a stick thing far too much. People won't do anything unless there's an item in it for them anymore. The only 'fun' people know is getting things, and maybe gloating about the things they've gotten. That's the main reason i got sick of it, and finally quit even though a few of my RL friends play. It's an endless empty pursuit.

It goes beyond that, honestly. It's not even that which really is depressing about WoW. It's the way that gear and guilds determine everything, and intelligence, skill, or ingenuity mean absolutely nothing. For instance, if you get into a battleground where the other side is "better geared" or a premade...your side will sit down and stop resisting so that it will end quicker and they can get their honor and leave. In arenas, if the other side is better geared many players will just drop before the fight even starts. Ask someone if they want to try an instance above their gear level, and they say "what's the point" and get back to the gear grind.
If any of you have read about the "Learned Helplessness" experiments they did on dogs, WoW is the perfect example of that in action. They have learned that nothing matters except gear. If they do not have the gear, they do not try. They lay down and die. It's really pathetic.

Technically not correct.
Implants and other consumables
Also, I like the name
Was the last "a" left out because someone already has the name or was the name locked out by CCP?

Don't. Pretty sure I can get temp-banned for that. Robbing guild banks is reportable. Ninja looting is reportable. There was a world even during which players could be infected with zombism and would die slowly unless cured(they die faster when bit by more zombies), after which they would respawn as a zombie and could attack other players. Within a few hours every major city was under siege by armies of zombies, and even guards and NPCs could be turned, which meant that every capital city became a zombie apocalypse in action. The entire forums were on fire with players complaining about repair bills. They ended the event shortly thereafter, and there's a lot of speculation and evidence that they ended the event because players were complaining about REPAIR BILLS. Yes...the best single event in the history of any MMO ever, and they end it because players don't want to pay repair bills.
So...don't. WoW was good in the past, but it's long since fallen from grace, and Eve is way better.

Tell that to either type of implant, with an honorable mention to rigs. The EVE way is better and I find these WoW-like exceptions to be annoying.

Rigs not so much. The ship can still be traded or sold on contract.

Best event ever. I remember griefing crossroads for hours.
Classic WoW, before the first expansion, was the most fun I've had in a game. Nothing compares. It wasn't the newness or anything like that, it was just plain better. Blizzard killed it.
Community went downhill, the challenge disappeared, and it just turned into a massive arena / battleground / instance grind. Gone are the days of hunting enemy players down in blackrock mountain or wherever. City raids are a joke. People just want their loot. All sense of community is gone. I think that's why EVE is appealing- it has community.

The Economy SUCKS. There is no reason why you would ever do anything with more than 40 people. Raid Pve is ok but lockouts make it a pain. So basically if you play you will find ourself logging in 2-3 times a week for 2 hours a pop and the rest of the time its dull as hell.

I personally have stopped playing WOW ages ago (I just tried it a while during burning crusade) but I have countless friends at the office that play WOW (most of them hardcore raiders) and they are all crying because Blizzard made everything way too easy and casual friendly. When I played WOW and someone came over to me with all epic and blingbling then you'd be like "wow he must be a good player". Now (from what I'm told) you basically get born with epic gear and the only difference between a hardcore raider and a casual is that the raider has 2% better equip. Talk about destroying the only reason to play WOW.
I just hope not to many of the WOW noobs migrate here and start influence CCP to dumb down EVE even more.
Edit:
Quote: the quests, the lore, the artwork in LK are v v nice
I found the WOW lore childish, boring and in essence copy/paste from all other fantasy RPGs. The quests were boring and repetitive (though not as bad as EVE PVE) and the artwork was also very 8-year-old friendly and overly "comixy" (is that even a word?). The graphics are also pretty terrible and immersion-breaking. Really don't see what you find so good?

Same can be said for eve, well let me fix.
Ninja Edit: Also, WoW, and the word Lore DO NOT belong the same sentence, AT ALL.
Hurry Gimili! Jump on my motorcycle and we'll burn paste them napoleon dynamite dancing tea-bagging trolls!
Don't worry Legolas, I got my Mr. T mohawk grenades, they don't stand a chance!
Good, I brought my black belt karate animal thing!
I purposefully used LoTR names as a standing point of real lore in a contrast of lore world
Also, the word one of the guys above was looking for was pixar. The game looks like something straight out of a Walt Disney movie.
