I can, so it's obviously already fixed… ùùù ôIf you're not willing to fight for what you have in ≡v≡à you don't deserve it, and you will lose it.ö ù Karath Piki |

Seems we have another case of "If it doesn't work for me, it's not working for anyone else either!".

everyong with dell inspiron 1500 models are having some serious problems. When I click on the eve clinet I get the dominion screen and then nothing. This is happening to several other people so its not just me.

Correct me if i'm wrong but what I can find by googling that model, it appears to be a rather old laptop, it has an Intel IGP which is not for gaming and as such I don't think CCP support your hardware - aka CCP doesn't have to fix the problems you're having due to out of date hardware that's not meant for gaming in the first place.
Of course I could be wrong but I've never seen a company support Intel IGP based laptops before.

Hey, he's being discriminated against.
I'm with you dude, though giving more info about your issue and filing a petition instead would have definitely been better. But yeah, you are obviously interested in my post because you're now reading my signature.

so the game running just fine 3 days ago. Then I upgrade to windows 7.0 and it doesnt work. This is not a hardware issue. This is a software issue with ccp. They did something wrong. Im a paying customer and they need to fix the coding to get the game to run properly. A laptop built in 2008 is not out of date by any means.

Sounds like a problem with your Windows 7 upgrade. Technically Windows 7 isn't supported by CCP yet. It works on my machine, though. The Windows Vista -> Windows 7 upgrade is different for each manufacturer, though.
When fixing a computer problem you always have to ask yourself, "what changed?" If it was just fine 3 days ago, it probably wasn't CCP's fault. But you changed your OS in that time. Keep going down that route.
Perhaps try updating the drivers for the graphics card. Maybe you need new drivers to fix a specific problem with that graphics card and Windows 7.

Maybe, just maybe, the issue is that your old laptop is having difficulty running both EVE under W7?
Sounds like you need to get a better computer.

Or it could be that we have a case of 'it doesn't ****ing work for some ppl'. Unless you are from CCP, you could keep your expertise about the EVE client to yourself.
2 clients running, no loss of messages between me and the EVE server - from past sad experience with CCP i always keep a ping active to TQ, no loss of packets locally in my country, no loss of packets anywhere else abroad, yet the TQ server refuses to answer, 1 try out of 3-4 to restart the client allows me to see the nr of ppl logged in on TQ, but it doesn't get me past authenticate.
I'm starting to see some forum problems too.
It could be a problem with my ISP as well, but considering the track record of the ISP - very good, and considering the track record of CCP post-Dominion i prefer at this time to assign blame with them. --- I smack just for myself. Allow faction cap boosters to be traded via normal market ! |

Hit ALT+Enter when it finishes loading. If that doesn't work, try reinstall, and beyond that... well i guess you're SOL
