Every single time I log in.
Restacking and ordering my chat windows is getting pretty tiresome. This NEVER happened before Dominion.

've noticed the same issue since Dominion, but only on my laptop. Things work fine on my home PC, but on my laptop on both my accounts, any time I login my "Local" and "Corp" chat panes get unstacked, with one thrown somewhere randomly on screen. Restacking them makes no difference on next login, nor does locking them down.

Same for me.
I just have local, corp and newb and they're always all unstacked. Very annoying.
Pinning and the likes doesn't work for me either.

Yeah this happens to me sometimes too, only about half the time I log in though. I have 7 windows open, and its really annoying to put them all back together again.

same issue for me. local, corp, fleet and private chat windows are randomly jumping around after each login. doesn't matter what account i am logging in. it's even worse if i login with multiple clients on a single machine. it also doesn't matter if i logout/login from station or within space. windows seem to have their own mind about where they want to be ...
actually, re-sorting & re-pinning the local and corp windows is a fast thing after each login (it's still annoying, but it's easy to fix) but what really sucks is that every time you start a chat or join a fleet, everything is messed up again.
already cleared cache but issue won't disappear.
hope this will fixed soon or someone has a workaround. browsed the forums and there was a topic back in 2008 where people had a similiar chat window jumping issue. the workaround then was to disable snap-in functionality and move all windows a few pixels away from each other: http://www.eveonline.com/ingameboard.asp?a=topic&threadID=794262 - i also tried this but i did not help. |

This happens to me, but it seems only when I'm docked in a station and I log in do the windows come unstacked. If I'm in space and I log off and back on the windows stay stacked and there is no need to re-stack them. Try it and see if it works for you.
