So, I asked my girlfriend what she would like for Christmas. It's still early days, so this is no biggy, but this is what she wanted:
1) Johnny Depp covered in chocolate
I solved this one by buying a Johnny Depp calendar, putting it in a box and covering it with chocolate bars.
2) An entire library
She likes to read. I persuaded my local library attendant to give me a blank library card.
3) A pickled-onion tree
She's weird, but i managed to get one of those small Christmas trees, a packet of cocktail sticks and some blu-tak. Some assembly required.
I win, and I bet she's going to get me gloves or something stupid.

What an interesting person. What would one do with a chocolate-covered Johnny Depp, anyway? I think it would provoke some kind of bizarre, yet tasty, love triangle.
