Questions:
1) Is this tournament going to be held in empire space? If so want to start getting my sec status up asap 
2) Are T2 rigs allowed?
It will be in concord space, 0.5sec
Any rig is allowed.
Also, you have to be randomly chosen to enter as there isnt enough time for a full on tournament and spots are limited. Goodluck on getting picked though!

If we can't agree matches on low sec then the competition rules out many players who like to pvp in low sec(and thus have bad sec status). But I guess this is understandable since organizing the final battles in low sec might be too big risk.
Also, if there is no rule that forces people to fit either a warp disruptor or a warp scrambler in their fits, we are going to see some crazy fits and the fights will not resemble the true EVE pvp combat. I don't know if anyone cares but just something to keep in mind.

Yeah sadly I am only one person and I do not have the contacts or power to hold any 0.0 sec to myself. However, if a large quantity of the players in the final round cannot make it to the concord controlled 0.5sec we can do it on SISI although that opens up some other issues, it will make organising the final round alot easier for me.

Quite true. For the last battle the fittings restrictions will be left up to a public vote and one of the options is to force fit certain items. The links for these votes will be published closer to the final match.
If you have any other suggestions please post them here or evemail me in game. Thanks for your input.

I'm still waiting to hear back from Maria Recamier. Have you heard back at all, and is there any deadline in place? I expect people are going to be away from eve quite a bit over the festive season.
If anyone else in group 1 is in the same situation, I'm happy to be redrawn against them so that we can get a match sorted out.

Good Idea. :) I will find out who is available to fight you that has already been drawn so you don't have to wait.
