Since arriving in Curse this past weekend, I've noticed that the CA of today seems much better organized and much more active in terms of members than they were just a few months ago. There are many new corps, and many (although not all) pilots are willing to give it a try at fighting.
Yes, at times CA still likes to circle the wagons with gigantic gank fleets and heavy ships waiting in safespots to hop in, but tbh it makes sense, considering the sheer size of the CA and the area which they must defend.
I've also noticed a surprising lack of smack from both sides in local, which is a great change from before.
By contrast, Venal was a boring desert of a region, with few active pilots left in PA ofand even fewer able or willing to come out of hiding for anything more than logon-gankfests or taking a station with 12 battleships and then running away and logging again.
Maybe the real difference here is, CA are not afraid to fight and risk dying. Since that's how I see BoB as well, we're getting some good fights and Eve-time in general out here.

This has been fun! I expected fights and we had them, although Sunday night was oddly dead and nobody was around. I have lost a few ships, but have many many more. Keep up the fun! I haven't had this much fun in a long time.

The commanders can not tell ppl not to fight and defend our space.
We see bad guys we come out to fight... and 99.9% of the ppl I know LOVE the fight, so we all tune up....... any commander trying to tell ppl they have to set around and wait would get poded

i thank the CA for the decreased amount of smack and fun fights.
i hope that when i bring H. Erectus down though, that people don't start what they can't finish in local. i would rather have fun fighting, believe it or not. |

Dude, that doesn't even make sense. We are supposed to all line up to fight Homo 1 on 1 every night? besides I hear you have hade plenty of 1 on 1s, Homo. Problem is you keep bringing cloakers to them and losing. Sorry about that.
And I appologise for stearing this thread off track. I am sure you are all having a dandy time down there. Perhaps I'm just bored and miss my war mates. But comparing CA to PA like this is kinda dumb. Dont forget that for the first 3 months of the PA/EVOL war we had great fun with almost ZERO smack talk. Then things get ugly when Evol starts trying to bribe corps, publishing weekly "your alliance is dead" propoganda, and bragging about having spys in alliance chat, teamspeak and forums. Kinda ruins the "fun" of it.

That sure is alot of encounters for a player with only 6 participated kills according to your own killboard. As you are an old-timer you would know that fitting a warp scrambler helps to keep your opponent in place while you kill him.
Maybe if I see you in venal next time you come up we will party just the two of us.
But that is of course only if I think I will win the fight depending on ship type /setup, and maybe more pilots think as I do.....just maybe.

Not zombies, just lamers who either SS until they have 2vs1 and greater odds, or conduct logon ganks. I have 1.7 million SP and I went freely around PA's "space" for a week and lost a whole one kestrel to a blockade. I lost three cruisers to Guristas though :( Maybe you guys should hire them to fight for you.

The multiple cruiser divebombing in B-VIP last night was awesome guys - unfortunaly my fraps screwed up - although you didnt kill much with it, it was beautiful to look at and 'paralyzed' us until your BS came :)

Respect is born in this game through blood, sweat and tears.
Before fighting PA, we fought F-E.... and F-E fought us. We spent every saturday for a month pulling together fleets so that we could blat each other to pieces.
F-E earned our respect, we had fun.

Every BoB battleship we destroyed was alot of fun. And I am sure you had the same feeling killing PA battleships.

I have 1.7 million SP and I went freely around PA's "space" for a week and lost a whole one kestrel to a blockade. I lost three cruisers to Guristas though :( Maybe you guys should hire them to fight for you.

What do you expect ONE player to do when there are NOW, amazingly enough, a dozen or more PA logging in while BoB is away? As opposed to the two, maybe three that would login, SS, and wait for half a dozen more to login and go kill a frigate. Last time I checked, It was AWM attacking PA outnumbered.
We're not up there sharing Evolution's anything, clown. We're not in BoB. And aside from BoB, we're the ONLY corporation from CoD/NSA that DIDN'T hand over our testacles along with our ammunition in your little "NAP". And why don't you talk to your OWN corporations who we've been approached by to leave PA, etc.
About our -so far- good behaviour... how about I share some logs of your alliance mates cussing us out in local. Using such absolute vulgarity in-game that, truthfully, it should be addressed by an anger management specialist.
