Last sunday Amarrians attacked a peaceful demostation against the Republic Goverment which was attended by 120 pilots of EVE.
The people have called for action...
[CENSORED FOR SECURITY REASONS - Haratu]
I chose to cut it short since it went on to issues incorporating threats to the Empire in the near future... this is proof that Independant Amarrian actions have consequences to the precious way of life of their brethren.
Do not misunderstand me... i appreciate my brothers who defend Amarr with their lives. I have the highest respect for them. However I do not respect it when pilots let their guns lead before their brains. The security of the Empire is at stake and stupidity is not an excuse.

These are no foxes we fight.
They are Wolves. Cunning, merciless, bloodthirsty, and numerous. I need not relate thier primal pack-like tendencies on the battlefield.
One cannot wait for the wolves to come to you, dragging your flock to thier deaths...you must strike them first.

You obviously learnt hunting from an untrained slave rather than a master Amarrian hunter. Wolves only attack lone targets and even then prefer to attack weak and injured rather than the stronger members of their prey. Wolves are not hard to find, they prowl in the open and easy to find and kill. Foxes on the other hand are known to attack healthy prey and will even rush into a flock of other creatures to confuse and deter the enemy. They are cunning and use the terrain to manipulate their prey to turn in circles and be distracted.
You are chasing foxes, foxes that hide in their burrows and amongst innocents. The only way to fight such beasts is to lay a trap for them outside their den with poisoned meat and steel traps. I have heard of some Amarrians that do such and have been successful, why should it not work again?

Haratu, we have been fighting this war for a long time. Public opinion will not deter us from going about this in the most effective way.
You presume to lecture us on how to conduct our operations one more time, and I might just loose my patience with you.

Calm brother Gaius.
Haratu is entitled to an opinion after all he is a fellow Amarrian.
It is not as if PIE has not has critics before.
Haratu, Ardor quoted me near the top of this thread and I stand by that statement.
If the 'peaceful' Minmatar organisers of this event had approached us and asked us to respect the sanctity of this event we would have.
We have shown such respect before and likewise the Minmatar have shown a similar respect to us. Even they are not all without honour.
However in this instance no effort was made to contact us and ask for our forebearance.
The Minmatars squeal about honour now but the fact is that their precious 'peace' gathering could have passed off without a hitch if they had deigned to talk to us in advance and agreed to keep known terrorists out of the event.

Edited by: Khaldorn Murino on 17/11/2004 10:47:42 Pah, accursed voice of PIE!
So the word from PIE is, next time you hold a peaceful protest, make sure you beg us not to come and fire upon it?
I will not beg on my knees before you Amarrian. The fact of the matter is, it was a peaceful protest, many people from across our universe attended it and respected the peacefulness of it.
Apart from you people. And now you blame us for not asking your permission? The people have spoken, this outrage will be answered.
Your arrogance is truly outstanding. -

Again, you're at war.

Discorporation is right. We are at war.
This makes all the Minmatar complaints about what happened on Sunday a bit confusing...
As for looking like good guys - well if your cause is just and true, as ours is, then you will automatically look like the good guys
We do however like to behave honourably - which is why in the past we have given the Minmatar leeway if they ask for it.
In this instance the gathering of Amarrian enemies in one place presented a wonderful target and it indeed allowed us to strike the terrorist war machine successfully.
To be honest this entire subject has been done to death with at least three separate GalNet discussions devoted to it.
Please spare us yet more Minmatar propoganda.
