ok so i've been having hardcore issues getting windows to run eve on windows 7 due to the fact that windows 7 registers my ATI Radeon x1250 card (integrated in laptop/cannot be changed) as a "Standard VGA Graphics Adapter", when i had win vista ult 64bit, eve ran fine. now it shows the splash screen, then nothing, no logon nothing, just a task bar showing that eve is active (i did a fresh install for eve after i install windows 7)
after some serious research i found out that amd will not support some older cards for win 7 with drivers/Ccatalyst control center etc, as they are not 'up to par' and cannot run win 7, well let me tell you that the graphics card is working and if it had a proper driver i'd be able to get something more than 1024x720!!!
 is there something that i should do differently????
please help!!!

EVE supports a inimum resolution of 1024x768. Any resolution you use must be able to satify both of those sizes as a minimum. Meaning even HD screens that support 720p cannot display EVE.
The Default Win7 driver should be fine for the X1000 and X100 cards for running EVE.
When EVE hits the taskbar press ALT + ENTER.

kk what do i do when i hit alt+enter? (and i meant 1024x768)

Assuming that when you double click the EVe icon this happens: Spalsh screen appears, EVE then appears as a task on the taaskbar as if it's running but you cannot see it, you may also be able to heard music or sound.
When that happens just press ALT + ENTER.

eve starts, splash appears and disappears 10 seconds later, no sound, just in task bar... when splash appears i press alt+enter and laptop makes ping/bell sound when splash disappears and alt+enter is hit "taskbar and start menu properties" opens
