You should probaly be aiming to put a full rack of rockets on your absolution, and don't forget to shield-tank it

I'm not really sure why this is so "LOL"
An absolution with 6 heavy pulse2 guns tear up the rats fairly well and the tank is pretty nice. I'm just wanting clarification on the 7 high slot, which I want to put a missile launcher in. I have been using an assault launcher for frigs, but the drones take care them fairly well. So now I'm thinking of putting some extra firepower for bigger ships, which came to this post.
perhaps I should have made my post clearer, but I thought the singular use of "launcher" instead of "launchers" would of done the job....

Are you serious? You open up a thread, asking what to put in a single highslot? Not that it makes a big diffrence if you put a useless launcher in that slot, but to open a thread about asking which one is pathetic!!

wow, that's harsh  . I came asking for help on my setup and I get nothing but "lol"'s and you're "pathetic." I didn't realize the official forums for EVE had no room for people trying to tweak their ship setups or needed help on understanding the most effective missile launcher for it.
I'll have to admit I don't know that much about missiles other then when they hit me, but that's about all. I haven't really played that much to be a master of the game. I could understand this kind of treatment if I had been playing for several years and then posted the question, but that is not the case for me.
I don't see a lot of PVE setups for the absolution except for ones that are archived from several expansions back. The archived setups I have read have missile bays loaded in the last slot, so I assumed this was still standard procedure for pve. Sure, the single missile bay may not make much of a difference, but it still does increase dps some so I don't see why it would be considered useless. Thought I'd ask for some personal experience with someone that might use the last slot similiarily since I'm a little confused about the heavy missiles and heavy assault missiles and how they would come into play with an absolution. I suppose I could put an energy vamp on the last slot instead of a launcher, but I really don't have that big of a problem with cap.
I didn't realize that placing a missile bay in the last high slot was the wrong thing to do. You guys could have made other suggestions instead of being so rude, but whatever. This is the 'net and if that's what floats your boat then by all means full steam ahead. If coming to the boards for help is pathetic, then I guess I'll stop posting questions on ship/module setups.... which is what I thought this forum category was about. Sorry to bother you elitest with my newbie pathetic-ness. I'll take my leave now.
