Xfire is having a media push right now. So if they've had your regular address for some time, now would be the time they'd use it. That's also why you're seeing mention of them on EVE.

If they passed on customers' details without the customer's consent, they would land themselves in all sorts of legal hot water. It's more likely and logical that you or someone you know gave Xfire your email address, then their emails were sent to you that way. However, if you still don't believe CCP's word on this matter, then I guess there's nothing anyone will be able to say to convince you otherwise. Email addresses for people aren't all that hard to find if you really want it, and know where to look.
