CCP I am at a Total lose here!
How can you design a game with UI that doesn't provide for a software initiated/right click option, to facilitate the separation of single stacked items?
Ive wasted serious amounts of my game time fighting a buggy poorly designed item manipulation design. This is a very serious issue given the hundreds of stacked items we players use every day.
My shift/drag ability to split stacks is buggy and not working, even after swapping out a new keyboard.
I'm staggered that I cannot simply select a stack, then right click and find an option to slip the stack where it sits.... then I can drag the new stack to where I want it.... simple clean and effective!!
How can this NOT be possible in a game that is in constant redesign and involves thousands of split stack item manipulations, each second across Eve's player base??
CCP how can you allow this poor UI design to exist??

btw... you can shift-drag or so to split stacks
same applies to other online games that you can shift or ctrl click or rightclick to split stack.
no need to make extra buttons for such feature to make it "bloated"

Yea I noticed the stacking thing is kind of messed up. Everytime I log in, my chat windows that I had stacked unstacks by themself.

You know dude, if shift-drag doesn't work for you even after switching keyboards, you were either very unlucky in your choice of keyboard, or you fail at shift-dragging.

Ya know.... given the quality of the replies that have been posted, Im sure people would defend wearing 2 left shoes if that was the norm....
I shake my head.
CCP wont fix this UI if you guys fail too care.

Sure they will! After they add atmospheric flight, walking in station, fix insurance for getting concordokken, finish fixing sov, nerf motherships, and ninja nerf a few things. Then they'll fix the UI if the dart hits it

UI sucks, but if you fail at shift-dragging the poor quality UI isn't your real problem.
