Integrated Astromechanics is open for business and recruiting. I'll cut right to the chase; here's what makes this corporation different from the rest:
- A detailed corporate manifesto: You will be able to read about our inner workings and principles before you actually join, and see if they suit your play style!
- The aim to operate as closely as feasible to a real-world business entity, as opposed to an organization that essentially works like a guild or clan.
- Zero (0%) corporation tax and no requirement to work for free or to use private equipment for corporation activities.
- A system of employment contracts that allows for maximum flexibility in the relationship between the corporation and its employees: Negotiate your own salary, work hours and benefits, permitting you to continue playing the game the way YOU want! If you are only looking for a place to hang out and avoid the NPC corporation tax, you are welcome to join us as a Freelancer.
- A manufacturing/invention spreadsheet that has been over one year in the making. It includes all non-faction Tech I and Tech II items (plus some Tech III components) and automatically determines the most profitable item to produce in any region in terms of profit/hour and profit margin based on prices, trade volumes, projected market shares, your skills and standings. It will also reveal the optimum M.E./P.E. of blueprints and the best decryptor to use for invention jobs and comes with a refining calculator for all included Meta 1 and 5 items. Subject to restrictions, results from this spreadsheet are available to all corporation members.
- Naming rules that exclude novelty character names and promote a more realistic environment.
- Zero tolerance toward jackasses and immaturity.
- The option of role-playing. We are not a role-playing corporation, but no one will look at you funny if you prefer to remain in-character.
If this has sparked your interest, please visit our web-site at http://inmex-eve.yolasite.com/ and read our full corporate manifesto. Especially note the following:
- For now, we consider ourselves primarily a casual industrial corporation, although we ultimately aim towards aggressive military expansion to increase our power and profits.
- As we are just starting up, we are not by any means an established corporation. Also, while Integrated Astromechanics does not have an age requirement, it is obviously geared toward older, mature players. This implies that most members, the CEO included, will have a private life that we consider significantly more important than EVE. We regard our corporation mainly as a means to share and split the time requirement of being successful, which implies that no single player must or will be online all the time. Therefore, you should be able to work and entertain yourself without constant supervision or company.
- Trial accounts are welcome, but are limited to joining as Freelancers. See our manifesto for details.
- Having alts in other player-run corporations is generally not authorized.
- The CEO will be located in the GMT -6 time zone for most of 2010 and settle in GMT +1 the year after.
- We are currently operating in Amarr hi-sec space. A freighter is available if you need to move your assets closer to our area of operation.
- Your User ID and limited API key will be required during application.
If you decide to apply, please fill out an application form in our Personnel Office forums using your in-game character name. We will get in touch with you. If you have any questions, contact Theodor Bliesheimer in-game or post in this thread or our forums. See the next post for current job openings. If there is no position that interests you, but you think you can offer something to the corporation, feel free to apply anyway.

Very interesting. I'm an old nosec prober turned mission runner. If you guys would be interested in looking into wormhole farming, I would certainly like to join you guys. I have expierence probing under the old system, so the new system is a joke for me. If you guys think you could find a place for my skills, tell me who to contact.

Currently, wormholes do not fall within the scope of our business activities. Therefore, the best I could offer you would be a Freelancer status without an employment contract. I will add you to my address book though and contact you as soon as we start going down that road.

Greetings Theodor, how is the recruitment progressing? In the 6 months of playing Eve I've noticed precious few corporations even bother with much of a description of intent let alone a well written charter. In your case, I must say I was most impressed with the INMEX corporation charter. I created a simple corporation of convenience rather than take a stab at some of the drive-by recruiters. We have no charter other than to take care of the Eve needs for my immediate family and ostensibly just to recover the taxes while we seek a more long-term opportunity. Our corporation home base is in Amrr space in Domain and my family operates on GMT and GMT-8.
Is the formation of an alliance in the future of INMEX?
Regards and good luck.

Recruitment is still slow, starting out is always the hardest part. The fact that our naming rules exclude an estimated 50% of the entire EVE population does not make it easier. However, I guess it's better to have some kind of uniqueness to the corporation instead of making yet another generic corp no one needs.
Creating/joining an alliance is definitely one of our long-term goals. I will bookmark you for future reference.

I am happy to report that we have created our first two employment contracts, with one application currently pending. So far, we are 1x GMT-6, 1x GMT+1 and 1x GMT+8, so there should be somebody online around the clock. All jobs are still available.
There have also been a few inquiries about mining with INMEX. As we do not currently process any minerals, we cannot employ miners but on a Freelancer status. However, if you desire to work as a Freelancer or if you have a proposal about how to integrate mining in our business plan, do not hesitate to contact us.

Mr. Bliesheimer, This contract system is a great idea. I'm really interested in signing up, the work for hauling and salvaging looks appealing. I'm in GMT-5 time. I'll contact you again after Jan 5th. many thanks, LH

First off, I am very impressed with your Corp description and your website. I am going to continue to read over your site and I will most likely (98% chance) be filling out an application there. I did notice you said about mineral gathering as a hired freelancer, so that will also be in the discussion as I have very nice Indy alt, that I believe will be helpful in some manner to your business. As I am currently at work, I will look forward to discussing this matter further when I get home. |

Hey there, first of all, wonderful job on your corp description and a great idea too. I like the sound of a 'fully functioning corporate entity' and i will too, like many players that have posted, be applying for a working contract.
But before i apply, if you could, tell us how many working members you have as of now?
a reply to that would be greatly appreciated.
ANON.

We currently have 5 members, 5 characters. If everyone brought their alts in we could be called an established corporation.

Seems like a breath of fresh competence, IMO.
Many of the descriptions I have read have sounded like kids running for class president.
You will be hearing from me in-game. Have you submitted your expense voucher yet? |

I'm intrigued by your approach to a corp. I'll send you my detailed resume in game email if that's ok. I've been playing eve for a while but having a life outside ie kids a job makes my online activity random between 4-7 hours a week.
I would be interested in the hauler position with the trader position being second choice. Would like to talk more in game chat if possible.
I'm in the GMT -8 time zone
Do where/how do I send the application form ?
Regards
Dex |
