No serious attempt no, the last number I heard was the goons calculating some ~250 torp ravens to bring the alpha (altho that was before changes).

Hold on a moment - What about that attempt by Hammerfail that got the Veldnaught moved to 0.0 for a time? It was epic fail on Hammerfail's part, as I recall...

Using a Velator to suicide it and then faking a killmail isn't really what I would call a 'serious suicide attempt'...

I hear that Chribba is so universally loved that attacking him usually results in a capital fleet showing up immediately to shoot their own alliance member and apologize to Chribba for the inconvenience.

2) The killers' corporation, alliance, and many related people would congratulate them.
3) The idiot fandom on the forums would cry and bawww, many people would laugh at said idiots
4) Chribba probably wouldn't really care.
I have nothing against Chribba. In fact, I like him; he's done a lot for EVE players in general.
I have everything against his idiotic fan base. Congratulations, you think he's awesome! Why is it so hard for you to shut up about it?

I have discussed with a few of my mining ops other members about starting a Church of Chribba once we can run around in stations.
The only problem is that its very hard to get good religious sounding quotes off Chribba... but then again once we can set up the churches to the Lord of Veld we will just twist everything he says until it sounds wise.
Also, any donations the church receives will go to both maintaining the Church and also to Chribba so that he can leave a bit more Veld for the rest of us.
