It has been a week now and my evemon still does not work it worked befor but then it gave a this autherization error

Dunno what's wrong with yours, but my EVEMON works. Try generating a new API and using that one.

API was borked over the weekend. My EveMon now works like a charm again (w/o new API or reinstalling, btw). Must be on your end. Try reinstalling Evemon.

Go into your
C:\Documents and Settings\USER\Application Data\EVEMon
Or whatever the folder with cache and a bunch of .gz files is on your computer. Delete everything you find, then uninstall EVEMon. You have to manually delete all the stuff since EVEMon would otherwise leave it there even after uninstalling.
Re-install EVEMon now and re-add your character. It 'should' work. (worked for me, I had to do this a few days ago)

"Causes
For some reasons we're currently working on, EVEMon does not always take your API credentials (user ID, API key) into account and keep using the old ones."
So, they explain how to fix that, including the location of the files if you have to manually update the API key. The location I tried to describe above is where I found mine, and I just deleted them, so a re-install could solve the problem.
Good luck, and just check their forums, there are a ton of similar errors posted there.

Thanks Jack, that link you posted should fix the problem. The issue is resolved in the next version of EVEMon which should be following shortly.
