Is there a particular few faction or corporation that is most profitable to work for if you are going for pure profit?

The more ppl run the same corp the less profitable it becomes. So noone is going to tell you the best ones

I tried searching and could not find an answer that actually stated any faction/corp.
I do not care if i get flamed because for one it is a game/internet and the way i see it if you dont ask then the answer is always no.
So, hopefully there is a few people out there who are kind enough to help out a less experienced player with a fair question.
Will all due respect, if you have nothing productive to add to the thread, please do not clutter it.

The pirate factions are much more profitable than the empire factions.
The agents in Curse and Stain were good to me.

Agents of ANY corp are very profitable, if they reside in lowsec. Give it a try!
No really. Get standings, go to lowsec and compare your LP/ISK gain to the highsec agents. You WILL notice a difference

Recon 1/3 has battleships that drop deadspace and even officer loot quite frequently, 10% or more of the time for me. The mission description says you dont need to fight the rats, and thats the trick! CCP hid the goodies in those rats.
Fit for max gank and you can clear this mission quick. Dont bother with an AB or drones, just fit for max raw dps.
Space is fun! |

::ponders a serious response to this:: You get about 2x the LP from similar quality agents going from .7 -> .4. I have more information but that'd be telling. :)
