I heard you can select certain substystems to make the Tengu all but invisible when using 0.4 and below. Got some questions, please:
1) What subsystems are needed for these? 2) Does it make it possible to warp cloaked and does this cripple speed when cloaked? 3) I hear a subsystem makes bubbles not work? 4) Is it also immune to normal scramblers?
Thanks for any info you can give

1)tengu offensive - covert reconfiguration - tengu propulsion - interdiction nullifier 2)covert ops gives no speed penalty (but affects randomly inertia =) 3)nullifier subsystem does it and sometimes not 4)depends how many warp core stabs you can fit, hic will negotate all stabs

You are confusing cloaking with making it unprobeable. You can make any T3 unprobeable by fitting the subsystem that boosts sensor strength, plus ECCM mods. When sensor strength > sig radius, you can sit at a safespot and not be probed. Such a fit is gimped though, and rarely makes sense unless you have a very specific purpose in mind (like a command bonus alt in a safespot).
You can still be warp scrambled by a normal module, but if you cloak immediately as soon as you warp off a gate, no one can lock you in time.
A cloaky t3 with the interdiction nullifier is pretty well invulnerable in 0.0 and lowsec. About the only way you can get caught is to be unlucky enough to spawn at a gate within 2km of an alert tackler (which can happen at a really big gatecamp). Or if you do something dumb like go afk and get decloaked at a planet, etc.

Out of interest which ships can you make invisible, by managing to have sensor strength higher than signature radius, is it just the tech 3 ships? Or could I do it with a Covert Ops ship? At work so can't check EFT or Eve. Thanks

Covops + 2 to 3 racial ECCM modules, depending on your skills. --------------------------- Only those who surrender are lost |
