Hey eve, howya doin?
Ive just been wondering, is the celestis any use to you? if so, i dare you to show me. what are the tactics you would use? fitting? weapons? maybe even just shield tank that thing to death. optimal ranges? what are you using for scripts? are you even running sensor damps at all?
What would you do with one??? |

Its a Celestis, a Minmatar carrier used by fighter drones.

The celestis is a fairly powerful ship, especially with the new uber-cheap rigs. The strength of it comes from its drone bay, shield tank, and complete "wtf" factor. SO yeah, damps are useless, use shield extenders as well. If you lose the ship, you don't lose much of anything in terms of isk... and if you win, then your opponent not only lost their ship, but also their pride; after all, they just lost to a celestis.

The Celestis is one my most successful PvP ships ever.
It's slot layout and drone bay are what make it good. Ignore the bonuses. Fly it like it's a crappy (and cheap) Lachesis and you'll find it's actually quite good.

so, gotten some nice feedback. impressive fits im currently driving a super cheap tech one version of a fit a saw here. but i always thought sensor damps were worthless, after losing a celestis in pvp due to their imcredible fail factor.
any others?

Kessiaan has over 200 kills with his Celestis. Replace the sensor boosters with remote sensor boosters and you have a great gate camping support vessel as well.
