Actualy.... it works very nice in frig packs since you might get "unnoticed"....4 neutron blaster 2's really ....really hurt

Assaults do 2 things, 1 anti frig cruiser defence in fleets and 2 provide the muscle in inty/assault raid squads.
None of these roles require MWD nor scramblers etc. The only EW module i consider using occasionaly is a web.
Focus on enhancing Tracking Speed and Optimal on assaults.

As for your comment about Assaults not needing an MWD or AB for Raid squads, Im completely unable to understand this
Where on earth do you do these 'raids' ?? Not 0.0 in enemy alliance space ??. If I didnt have a speed module on my Wolf Id never get anywhere or on any kills. I did 65 jumps on a round trip round Curse space last night and I can tell you now I wouldnt do that at 350m/s. Also nearly every enemy we encounter has mwd and has a 15-30km head start on me. By the time he's webbed etc he'd be dead before I got to fire if I didnt have a mwd/AB.
Id like to come on one of your raids though coz then I could ditch the mwd/AB and Id be even more devastating
I use a speed increase module always , and I also dont fear cruise missles very much. Assault frigs rock, a lot
Ive killed every ceptor Ive ever engaged and most cruisers who didnt warp. One OC rupture did force me to run though once. Ive also never used oversized modules so Shiva wont effect my set up at all so bring it on I say.
Assault frigs for the win (could do with being a tad faster though if you ask me)
So HMV consider Andy Williams and Dean Martin to be "easy listening" do they? Tell that to my mate Dave, he's been deaf for 20 years.

I said inty/assault raids. And we only attack alliances. All our assault frigs get on the kills, none use speed boosting modules.
Their role is not to catch nor run like mad. They are there to tank things like drones, antifrig cruisers and hostile inties and to provide fire power vs bigger targets like BS.
It's a really simply concept and makes perfect use of the assault frigs as they were meant to be used. Of course on it's own it's not flexible at all and especially when running loadouts like what we use it can only kill those foulish enough to engage.

Oh, and Wasp drones does less than 5 damage on my Enyo shield with "heavily hits".
The thing to think about with Enyo with blasters is that a Thorax is faster and does more damage (yet track worse), with similar survivability.

I probably wont go into PvP with my Enyo. So far it's done a good work of acting as a miniature cruiser in lvl 3 missions, and I can safely say that the enyo is the only reason why I can still get myself to do those damn agent missions, it's just so much fun to use. On the other hand, if I was forced to use it in PvP, I'd only go out with inty ganksquads as a puncher, with antimatter railguns, t2 armour rep and the rest devoted to capacitor and maybe one damage mod. Which ironically isn't too far from my NPC setup.
And if I get jammed, well, then THEODORE the Lone Acolyte Drone will make a valiant attempt towards murdering you.

I'm Minmatar, i prefer to fly minnie-ships, and thus i prefer using projectiles as there is where i got most skills. It's an rp kinda thing for me. So if i was to give a crap about what people say i would be devastated now, NOBODY EVEN MENTIONS JAGUAR/WOLF 
BUT..i dont give a crap, i love my Claws and i really, really like my Jaguar after having flown it only for a few days. Probably should have gotten a Wolf instead but it was the price that made it.
I'm sure all you enyo/vengance/ishikur/whatever-pilots would wtfpwn me but give us some love now and then anyway mkay (how about just for compassion if nothing else  )
