In a magical world, far, far away, the men used to go exploring. The sole purpose was to find new countries to play sports against.
In this magical world a game was developed called Rugby. Not everyone could play it. It involved guts, grit and a big sack for your ballz. Only the best countries with the strongest and toughest men played it. Some countries were terrible. See, they were only used to playing sports with a lot of padding and protection. They even wore helmets when playing sports!!! They were called Gheymericans.
The game's popularity grew so much that the people decided to have a competition every four years to see who were the bestestest of the bestestest. The winners got all the hot chicks and the respect of all the other men. Obviously more and more people wanted to play. At some point, even the DRF decided to try their hand at it. They were terrible.

NFL is a derivitive of both of those sports. I actually like NFL but prefer Rugby because of the amount of stops in a NFL game plus wearing pads is a bit meh.

Well, we, South Africa, got put out of the competition thanx to Bryce Lawrence. It is not only my opinion, but was even confirmed by the Australian press.
I do think SA vs New Zealand would have been the best match of the competition. Anyways, we have many young guys to replace the retiring players and Jake White wants the job as coach again. We'll take it back in 4 years.

Counted at least 6 high tackles from the Kiwi's and not once were warned about them, the ref also seemed to give them alot longer than the French in the rucks.

I said if the French can match the All Blacks upfront, they'd have a genuine chance. Not only did they match them, they overpowered them in the line-outs and scrums. Could have gone either way. Dunno if this proves that Southern Hemisphere teams are better than Northern. The count is 6-1, so I guess it does.
As far as the ref goes. Even though he wasn't 100% I think he was the best guy at the tournament. He did us South Africans proud.
The game (and referees) will never be consistant as long as so many of the rules are open to interpretation. I have no idea to how to fix it though. I guess while most rules keep the game flowing, whilst preventing serious injuries, I'll take it the way it is.
Well done to the team and the country for hosting. We'll bring the cup home to Africa in 2015!
