Hi,
I'd like some feedback on this. At the moment I've two clients running from the same installation. Even on my old PC it still runs quite well. It has the problem of not storing settings and the minor gripe of having to move the window to fit perfectly inside the monitor and hide the tab at the top.
I know there is an EvE launcher but i see that stopped being updated in 2007.
To summarize.
1. How to keep individual settings for each account client. Are we talking about duplicating the install as I've seen in another thread and wouldn't this cause problems during patching? 2. How to resolve/hide the the issue with the bar a top of the screen while running the game windowed?
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. --

In order to create seperate or multiple settings you would have to create a second install. This can be done by simple copy pasting or junctions if you wish to save space. This is becasue it uses the path of where the game is installed to create a folder in the appdata folder named the path of the install.
For the top bar you can use a window relocator for EVE. EVEMon can relocate windows to be 'fullscreen' but without the massive lag when tabbing to a second client. For teh bar at the top this is a Vista/Win7 feature which prevent placing the entire main bar off the screen. You cna move it off the sides but not off the top. The resolve this you can create a new resolution Which is about 70-80 pixels shorter to allow the entire EVE Client to fit in the screen including the main bar. ------------------------------------- The system issues man. |

Well i admit the saved settings is more of a minor gripe than addressing the windowed mode. I'm testing the relocate program now.
Thanks for the advice and quick reply. --

much better and much faster than the copy paste routine I used to do AND saves settings properly. I drag the bottom of the bar up so it's 95% hidden beyond the top of the monitor.

game window relocator works great, it will hide the frame on any game or program.
